Qatar to Take Part in Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021

Doha: The State of Qatar will take part in Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021, which will be held from June 2 to 5, with a delegation of senior officials, businessmen, political figures and heads of civil society organizations, representing more than 50 Qatari institutions.
The State of Qatar’s participation in the event affirms its commitment to broadening its bilateral economic relations with the Russian Federation and promoting them to new horizons.
Discussions about the industrial, economic, investment, technological, educational, cultural and sporting potentials of the State of Qatar will be held in the framework of the Forum’s program.
Commenting on the occasion, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Russian Federation Sheikh Ahmed bin Nasser Al-Thani underlined that the broad representation of the State of Qatar in Petersburg International Economic Forum 2021 reflects the extensive prospects for cooperation between the State of Qatar and Russia and the keenness of the two sides on deepening and expanding the relations.
HE the Ambassador expressed confidence that the cooperation through this important forum will be fruitful, looking forward to establishing new partnerships and expanding the commercial and economic relations.
Qatar’s pavilion at the Forum, which represents several national authorities and institutions, will work on enriching the program of the Petersburg International Economic Forum. The pavilion will also host bilateral meetings, discussion panels and round tables on the bilateral partnerships between the State of Qatar and Russia, as well as other countries.
On the sidelines of Qatar’s participation in the Forum, a host of cultural events will take place in different parts of Petersburg, in accordance with an intensive cultural program aims at highlighting the Qatari culture.

الدوحة: تشارك دولة قطر في “منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي 2021″، والذي سيعقد خلال الفترة من الثاني إلى الخامس من يونيو المقبل، بوفد يضم ممثلين من أكثر من خمسين مؤسسة قطرية من كبار المسؤولين ورجال الأعمال وشخصيات سياسية ورؤساء هيئات ومنظمات مجتمع مدني.
وتأتي مشاركة دولة قطر في هذه الفعالية، تأكيدا على التزامها بتوسيع العلاقات الاقتصادية الثنائية مع الاتحاد الروسي، ونقلها إلى آفاق جديدة.
وفي إطار برنامج أعمال منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي، ستعقد مناقشات حول الإمكانات الصناعية والاقتصادية والاستثمارية والتكنولوجية والتعليمية والثقافية والرياضية لدولة قطر.
وبهذه المناسبة، أكد سعادة الشيخ أحمد بن ناصر آل ثاني سفير دولة قطر لدى روسيا الاتحادية، على أن مثل هذا التمثيل الواسع لدولة قطر في منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي 2021 هو خير دليل على الآفاق الواسعة للتعاون بين دولة قطر وروسيا ورغبة الطرفين في تعميق وتوسيع العلاقات.
وتابع سعادته قائلا “نحن على ثقة من أن تعاوننا من خلال هذا المنتدى المهم سيكون مثمرا. ونتطلع إلى إقامة شراكات جديدة وتوسيع العلاقات التجارية والاقتصادية”.
وخلال المنتدى سيعمل جناح دولة قطر الذي يمثل عددا من الهيئات والمؤسسات الوطنية على تعزيز برنامج منتدى بطرسبورغ الاقتصادي الدولي، كما سيستضيف الجناح اجتماعات ثنائية ومناقشات وموائد مستديرة تتناول الشراكات الثنائية بين دولة قطر وروسيا فضلا عن باقي الدول.
ومن المقرر أن تعقد على هامش مشاركة دولة قطر في المنتدى فعاليات ثقافية ستقام في أماكن مختلفة من مدينة بطرسبورغ، وفق برنامج مكثف لتلك الفعاليات ليتم من خلالها إبراز الثقافة القطرية.
