آل محمود يبحث سبل تطوير العلاقات الثنائية مع وفد إيطالي
DOHA: Speaker of the Advisory Council H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud met with a delegation from the Italian Republic that included Senior Director of European Affairs at The Aspen Institute, Dr Marta Dassu, and Adviser of the Italian Prime Minister, Franco Bassanini.
They discussed bilateral relations and the means to enhance them in different fields, particularly parliamentary ones. They also discussed a number of issues of joint interest.
The Speaker of the Advisory Council discussed the economic and legislative developments of the State of Qatar under the leadership of Emir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
The Speaker also discussed the unjust blockade enforced on the country and how it represents a violation to international law and good neighbourliness.
The Italian delegation for their part praised the developmental renaissance of the State of Qatar in different fields. They also highlighted their support to all diplomatic efforts aiming to resolve the GCC crisis through dialogue, in order to see a return to harmony and agreement in the region. They added that they look forward to developing Qatari-Italian ties further in the future.
The meeting was attended by members of the Advisory Council, Saqr bin Fahd Saqr Al Muraikhi and Mohammed bin Ali Al Henzab, as well as Italy’s Ambassador to Qatar, Pasquale Salzano.
اجتمع سعادة السيد أحمد بن عبد الله بن زيد آل محمود رئيس مجلس الشورى اليوم، مع وفد من الجمهورية الإيطالية يضم سعادة السيدة مارتا داسو مديرة إدارة الشؤون الأوروبية بمعهد اسبن وسعادة السيد فرانكو بسانيني مستشار رئيس الوزراء الإيطالي .
جرى خلال الاجتماع بحث العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة قطر والجمهورية الإيطالية وسبل دعمها وتطويرها في مختلف المجالات خاصة في المجال البرلماني إلى جانب استعراض عدد من القضايا ذات الاهتمام المشترك .
وتحدث سعادة رئيس مجلس الشورى خلال الاجتماع شارحاً للوفد التطورات الاقتصادية والتشريعية التي تشهدها دولة قطر في ظل القيادة الحكيمة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى “حفظه الله”. كما تناول سعادته الحصار الجائر المفروض على البلاد وما يمثله من انتهاك للقانون الدولي ولمبادئ حسن الجوار .
ومن جانبه أشاد الوفد الإيطالي الزائر بالنهضة التنموية التي تشهدها دولة قطر في مختلف المجالات وأكد دعمه لكل الجهود الدبلوماسية المبذولة لحل الأزمة الخليجية عن طريق الحوار وبما يكفل عودة الوئام والوفاق في المنطقة. وأعرب الوفد عن تطلعه لمزيد من التطور في العلاقات القطرية الإيطالية خلال المرحلة القادمة.
حضر الاجتماع السيد صقر بن فهد المريخي والسيد محمد بن علي الحنزاب عضوا مجلس الشورى ، وسعادة السيد باسكوالي سالزانو سفير الجمهورية الإيطالية لدى الدولة .
