Warnings of expected thundery rain accompanied by sudden strong winds
تحذيرات من أمطار رعدية متوقعة مصحوبة برياح قوية مفاجئة
QNA – WGOQatar – Doha:
The Meteorological Department warned of thundery rain expected westward accompanied by sudden strong winds in the afternoon on the coast, and predicted that the weather until 6 p.m. will carry adust stuck on some areas of the coast initially to become hot during the day, with some local clouds, and a chance of rain west ward in the afternoon may be thunderstorms sometimes, and in the sea accompanied by dust stuck sometimes with some clouds.
Winds on the coast are north-easterly to south-easterly between 6 and 16 knots, up to 26 knots with thunderstorms. In the sea, the winds are south-east to north-east at a speed of 3 to 13 knots, shifting to north-westerly at noon.
The horizontal visibility ranges from 4 to 8 kilometres, sometimes up to 3 kilometres in some areas.
The height of the waves on the coast ranges from one foot to two. And in the sea between 1 and 3 feet.
The maximum expected temperature in Doha (42°C).

حذرت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية من أمطار رعدية متوقعة غربا مصحوبة برياح قوية مفاجئة بعد الظهيرة على الساحل، وتوقعت أن يكون الطقس حتى الساعة السادسة من مساء اليوم مصحوبا بغبار عالق على بعض مناطق الساحل في البداية ليصبح حارا نهارا، مع بعض السحب المحلية، وفرصة لأمطار غربا بعد الظهيرة قد تكون رعدية أحيانا، وفي البحر يصاحبه غبار عالق أحيانا مع بعض السحب.
وتكون الرياح على الساحل شمالية شرقية إلى جنوبية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 6 و16 عقدة، تصل إلى 26 عقدة مع الأمطار الرعدية.. وفي البحر تكون الرياح جنوبية شرقية إلى شمالية شرقية بسرعة تتراوح بين 3 و13 عقدة، تتحول إلى شمالية غربية في الشمال ظهرا.
ويتراوح مدى الرؤية الأفقية بين 4 و8 كيلومترات، تصل 3 كلومترات على بعض المناطق أحيانا.
ويتراوح ارتفاع الموج على الساحل بين قدم واحدة واثنتين.. وفي البحر بين 1 و3 أقدام.
