Important mention: Municipality warns beachgoers of sea currents

Al-Sharq – WGOQatar – Doha:

The Ministry of Municipality and Environment issued an important note to beach goers, calling for caution against withdrawing sea currents and tidal movements.

According to its official Twitter account, it also noted that nobody should ride horses on the beaches during the weekend.

The ministry called for boats and scooters not to be used near the beach and to stay 400 metres away from swimming areas.

الدوحة – الشرق:

أصدرت وزارة البلدية والبيئة تنويهاً هاماً لمرتادي الشواطيء، ودعت إلى توخي الحذر من التيارات البحرية الساحبة وحركة المد والجزر 

كما أشارت – وفق حسابها الرسمي على تويتر – إلى ضرورة عدم ممارسة ركوب الخيل بالشواطئ خلال عطلة نهاية الأسبوع .

ودعت إلى عدم استخدام الزوارق والدراجات البحرية (سكوترات) قرب الشاطئ والابتعاد مسافة 400 متر عن أماكن السباحة.
