Doha: Charge dAffaires of the US Embassy in Qatar Natalie Baker underlined that the relations between the United States and the State of Qatar are stronger than ever, thanks to the partnership between the two countries in various fields.
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), Natalie Baker said: “The bond between the United States and Qatar is stronger than ever, thanks to our extraordinary partnership in pursuing shared goals and addressing regional and global challenges.”
“Bilateral relations between the US and Qatar in trade, education, humanitarian assistance, security, and defense have broadened and deepened significantly in recent years,” she added.
She expressed pleasure that the State of Qatar featured the United States as the Country of Honor for the 2021 Year of Culture, which included programming in music, art, literature, sports, business, and more.
The US Embassy Charge dAffaires underlined her country’s keenness on enhancing the relations with Qatar and establishing a legacy for the future, saying: “This year, as we celebrate the 50th anniversary of US-Qatar diplomatic relations and look forward to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, we are excited to continue to build on our strong foundation, with an eye toward establishing a legacy for the future.”

الدوحة: أكدت السيدة ناتالي بيكر القائم بأعمال السفارة الأمريكية لدى الدولة، أن العلاقات القطرية الأمريكية أقوى من أي وقت مضى بفضل الشراكة القائمة بين البلدين في مختلف المجالات.
وقالت السيدة ناتالي بيكر، في تصريح لوكالة الأنباء القطرية /قنا/، “لا شك أن العلاقات بين الولايات المتحدة وقطر أقوى من أي وقت مضى وذلك بفضل شراكتنا غير العادية في تحقيق الأهداف المشتركة والتصدي للتحديات الإقليمية والعالمية”.
وأضافت “توسعت العلاقات الثنائية بين الولايات المتحدة ودولة قطر في مجالات التجارة والتعليم والمساعدات الإنسانية والأمن والدفاع وتعمقت بشكل كبير في السنوات الأخيرة”.
وعبرت عن سعادتها باختيار دولة قطر للولايات المتحدة الأمريكية شريكا رسميا في العام الثقافي 2021 والذي تضمن برامج في الموسيقى والفنون والأدب والرياضة والأعمال وغير ذلك.
وأكدت القائم بأعمال السفارة الأمريكية لدى الدولة حرص بلادها على تعزيز هذه العلاقات وإرساء إرث للمستقبل، وقالت: “خلال هذا العام ومع احتفالنا بالذكرى الخمسين لإقامة العلاقات الدبلوماسية بين الولايات المتحدة وقطر وتطلعنا إلى كأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، نحن متحمسون لمواصلة بناء علاقاتنا، مع التطلع إلى إرساء إرث للمستقبل”.
