Hamad Airport opens first green café

Hamad International Airport is preparing to open its first vegetarian café , Evergreen Organics, a private café that serves nutritious and healthy meals to travellers, vegan first, a vegetarian health website has revealed.

The website noted that Hamad International Airport is a central and major airport in the region, and one of the busiest airports in the world, with a record of 38.78 million passengers in 2019, and the site noted that in 2016, Engineer Ghanem Al Sulaiti opened Evergreen Organics – making it the first vegetarian café in Qatar, with the aim of providing healthy and vegetarian food to the tourism and travel industry community.

Al-Sulaiti said: The ability to find vegetarian food at the airport was something I dream of while waiting for the flight, the café will be open 24 hours and will offer a variety of cold juices, breakfasts, natural coconut water and other healthy meals, and this café will be a source of satisfaction for travelers, especially vegetarians, and the new café provides an opportunity for transit travelers whether they are vegetarians or interested in public health, especially since many people now prefer food choices based on vegetables and fruits, and this trend is expected to grow over the coming years.

كشف موقع vegan first المتخصص في القطاع الصحي النباتي أن مطار حمد الدولي يستعد لافتتاح أول مقهى نباتي – Evergreen Organics، وهو مقهى خاص يقدم وجبات مغذية وصحية للمسافرين.

واشار الموقع إلى أن مطار حمد الدولي هو مطار محوري ورئيسي في المنطقة، وواحد من أكثر المطارات ازدحاما في العالم، مع تسجيله ل 38.78 مليون مسافر في عام 2019، واشار الموقع إلى أنه في عام 2016، افتتح المهندس غانم السليطي Evergreen Organics – ليكون بذلك أول مقهى نباتي في قطر، بهدف توفير الأطعمة الصحية والنباتية لمجتمع قطاع السياحة والسفر.

وقال السليطي: إن القدرة على العثور على طعام نباتي في المطار كان شيئا أحلم به أثناء انتظار الرحلة، وسيتم فتح المقهى على مدار 24 ساعة وسيقدم مجموعة متنوعة من العصائر الباردة، ووجبات الإفطار، وماء جوز الهند الطبيعي والوجبات الاخرى الصحية، وسيكون هذا المقهى مصدر ارتياح للمسافرين خاصة النباتيين منهم، كما يوفر المقهى الجديد فرصة لمسافري الترانزيت سواء كانوا نباتيين أو مهتمين بالصحة العامة خاصة أن العديد من الاشخاص أصبحوا يفضلون الخيارات الغذائية القائمة على الخضراوات والفواكه، ومن المتوقع أن ينمو هذا الاتجاه خلال السنوات القادمة.
