Katara to charge for entry to its beaches
كتارا تفرض رسوماً على الدخول إلى شواطئها
The Peninsula Online – Doha:
Entrance to Katara Beach will be through paid tickets, said the cultural hub of the country on its social media.
The tickets will be priced according to various age groups with adults being charged QR 50 while those in the age group of 7 to 18 years will have to pay QR 25. Entry will be free for kids for less than 7 years.
“Dear visitors, starting Saturday, July 4, entrance to Katara Beach will be through paid tickets according to various age groups,” stated the announcement.
Katara opened its three beaches in phase 2 of the gradual lifting of COVID-19 restrictions in Qatar on July 1. Open from 3 pm to 10 pm, the three beaches have been equipped with sitting places with all the kids’ playground and boats disinfected.
A previous statement had mentioned that swimming is allowed in beach 3 & 4. Jet Ski ramp will be operative for personal jet skis on July 1, 2020, from 3 pm until sunset.

قال المركز الثقافي للبلاد على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي الخاصة به إن الدخول إلى شاطئ كتارا سيكون من خلال التذاكر المدفوعة. سيتم تسعير التذاكر وفقًا لمختلف الفئات العمرية بسعر 50 ريالًا قطريًا للبالغين في حين يتعين على الأشخاص الذين هم في الفئة العمرية من 7 إلى 18 عامًا دفع 25 ريالًا قطريًا. الدخول مجاني للأطفال أصغر من 7 سنوات.
“أعزائي الزوار ، ابتداءً من يوم السبت 4 يوليو ، سيكون الدخول إلى شاطئ كتارا من خلال تذاكر مدفوعة الأجر وفقاً لمختلف الفئات العمرية” ، جاء ذلك في الإعلان.
افتتحت كتارا شواطئها الثلاثة في المرحلة الثانية من الرفع التدريجي لقيود كوفيد-19 في قطر في 1 يوليو. تم تجهيز الشواطئ الثلاثة، التي تفتح من الساعة 3 عصراً حتى الساعة 10 مساءً، بأماكن جلوس وملاعب للأطفال وقوارب جميعها معقمة.
وكان بيان سابق قد ذكر أن السباحة مسموح بها في الشاطئ 3 و 4. سيكون منحدر الجتسكي متاحاً أمام أصحاب الجتسكي فقط في الأول من يوليو، 2020 من ال3 عصراً حتى المغيب.
