Hassad Company announced today the reopening of Al Sailiya Central Market starting today, July 1, 2020, in line with the government plan to gradually lift the restrictions imposed, as a result of the COVID-19 epidemic.
In coordination with the Ministry of Public Health, Aswaq for Food Facilities Management (a subsidiary of Hassad) took all the precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the virus in the Central Market. Starting with conducting complete sterilization of the whole market, to holding briefing sessions with all the traders and suppliers to organize the workflow and to ensure that the health and safety procedures are followed.
Moreover, awareness posters that includes a number of safety instructions, among them the necessity of having Ehteraz app. were placed in the market, in various languages. In addition, thermal cameras were provided to ensure the safety of all workers and consumers.
Al Sailiya Central Market is an integrated marketing platform that includes a traditional market with 52 shops, a retail market with 102 shops, and a wholesale market with 50 shops. Moreover, the central market includes an auction hall for local and imported fresh produce, which spans over 8,000 square meters. The market also includes cold stores that spans over 4600 sq., as well as 10 shops for fish, meat and poultry products, a hypermarket (4800 sq), and a dedicated space for ration commodities.
Located at a central site, around 25 minutes away from the heart of Doha, Al Sailiya Central Market spans over approx. 100,000 sq., all its sections are air-conditioned to serve the needs of the trader, producer and consumer.

أعلنت شركة حصاد الرائدة في مجال الاستثمار الغذائي عن إعادة فتح سوق السيلية المركزي بدءًا من اليوم الأربعاء الأول من شهر يوليو لعام 2020، وذلك تماشيًا مع خطة الدولة للرفع التدريجي للقيود المفروضة جراء فيروس (كوفيد -19).
وقامت شركة أسواق لإدارة المنشآت الغذائية (إحدى شركات حصاد) بالتنسيق مع وزارة الصحة العامة، باتخاذ جميع الإجراءات الاحترازية لمنع انتشار الفيروس في السوق المركزي، بدءًا بقيامها بتعقيم كامل للسوق، وكذلك عقد جلسات تعريفية مع جميع التجار والموردين لتنظيم سير العمل وتأكد من اتباع جميع العاملين إجراءات الصحة والسلامة لضمان سلامتهم.
كما تم وضع ملصقات توعوية للجمهور بمختلف اللغات بخصوص تطبيق احتراز، بالإضافة إلى عدد من إرشادات السلامة، كما تم تزويد السوق بكاميرات حرارية للتأكد من سلامة العاملين والمستهلكين.
ويعتبر سوق السيلية المركزي منصة تسويقية متكاملة حيث يضم: السوق الشعبي الذي يحتوي على 52 محلاً، بالإضافة إلى 102 محلاً في سوق التجزئة و50 محلاً في سوق الجملة، كما يضم السوق ساحة المزاد للمنتجات المحلية والمستوردة، والتي تمتد على مساحة 8 آلاف متر مربع، ومخازن مبردة تمتد على مساحة 4600 متر مربع.
ويضم السوق 10 محلات لبيع الأسماك واللحوم والدواجن، وهايبرماركت على مساحة 4800 متر مربع، كما يضم مساحة مخصصة للتموين.
جدير بالذكر أن السوق يمتد على ما يقارب 100 ألف متر مربع ويقع على في موقع مميز حيث يبعد 25 دقيقة عن قلب الدوحة، وينقسم السوق إلى عدة أقسام، جميعها مكيفة لخدمة كل الفئات، التاجر والمنتج والمستهلك.
