Ministry of Interior calls for ambulances not to be followed

In a tweet, the Interior Ministry called on “Twitter” not to follow emergency and ambulance cars, considering that this traffic behavior is wrong, which would hinder traffic and violate the traffic law. Be careful and do not put your life and others at risk.
The General Administration of Traffic indicated that the most prominent irregularities that accompanied the gradual lifting of restrictions imposed as a result of the new Coronavirus (Covid-19) related to parking on the pavement, wrong stop and the cars too close to each other, while the most prominent violations related to mobile phone occupancy that cause disturbing accidents that cause damage to their owners or vehicles.
Patrols in commercial spaces, commercial parks, commercial streets and public places continuously ensure vehicle traffic, as well as the distribution of patrols at intersections, roundabouts and light signals, with the aim of regulating, to ensure the smooth movement of vehicles, and eliminate traffic jams in front of ambulances and emergency vehicles.

دعت وزارة الداخلية في تغريدة لها على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي “تويتر” إلى عدم تتبع سيارات الطوارئ والإسعاف، معتبرة أن هذا السلوك مروري خاطئ، والذي من شأنه أن يعرقل حركة السير ويخالف قانون المرور.. كن حذرا ولا تعرض حياتك والآخرين للخطر.
وكانت الإدارة العامة للمرور أشارت إلى أن أبرز المخالفات التي رافقت الرفع التدريجي للقيود المفروضة نتيجة فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد – 19) تعلقت بالوقوف على الرصيف والوقف الخاطئ والسيارات الملاصقة لبعضها، في حين تبقى أبرز المخالفات تلك التي تتعلق بالانشغال بالهاتف الجوال التي تسبب حوادث مزعجة تؤدي إلى الإضرار بأصحابها أو بالمركبات.
وتؤمن الدوريات بشكل مستمر في الفضاءات والمجمعات التجارية والشوارع التجارية والأماكن العامة حركة المركبات، إلى جانب توزيع الدوريات على التقاطعات والدوارات والإشارات الضوئية، بهدف تنظيم وتأمين وضمان انسيابية حركة المركبات، وفك الاختناقات والازدحامات المرورية أمام سيارات الإسعاف والطوارئ.
