Ehteraz green status enough for Qatar-based Keralites to board flight: Kerala CM

Indians who are going back from Qatar to Kerala in special flights don’t need to undergo Covid-19 tests like those from other countries. Kerala Chief Minister said in a press conference today that people from Qatar need to only show the green status in Ehteraz app.

Kerala, a southern Indian state, has been asking Indian central government to check every passenger coming to the state if they are Covid-19 positive and allow only those who are negative to board the special flights organised by the Indian government as part of Vande Bharath Mission and the chartered flights organised by companies and community organisations. 

Pinarayi Vijayan, Kerala Chief Minister, said in a press conference that the Indian Ambassador from Qatar P Kumaran send a letter explaining the procedures in Qatar and the Ehteraz app.

It is not clear yet if the Indian central government has accepted the Kerala government’s request to test all passengers for Covid-19.

لا يحتاج الهنود الذين سيعودون من قطر إلى (كيرلا) على متن رحلات خاصة إلى الخضوع لاختبارات “كوفيد-19” مثل القادمين من دول أخرى. وقال الوزير الأول لولاية (كيرلا) في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم إن الناس من قطر بحاجة إلى إظهار الحالة الخضراء فقط في تطبيق (احتراز).

وتطلب ولاية (كيرلا)، وهى ولاية بجنوب الهند ، من الحكومة المركزية الهندية فحص كل راكب قادم إلى الولاية للكشف عن الإصابة بكوفيد – 19 والسماح فقط للسليمين أصحاب نتائج الفحص السلبية بالصعود على متن الرحلات الخاصة التي تنظمها الحكومة الهندية كجزء من بعثة (فاند بهاراث) والرحلات المستأجرة التي تنظمها الشركات والمنظمات المجتمعية .

وقال ( بينارايي فيجايان)، الوزير الأول بولاية (كيرلا)، في مؤتمر صحفي إن السفير الهندي من قطر (بي كوماران) بعث برسالة يشرح فيها الإجراءات في قطر وتطبيق (احتراز).

ولم يتضح بعد ما إذا كانت الحكومة المركزية الهندية قد قبلت طلب حكومة (كيرلا) بفحص جميع الركاب على متنها للكشف عن الإصابة بكوفيد-19.
