Paul Hensey appointed Chief Operation Officer of Al Shaqab Racing

Paul Hensey has been appointed Chief Operation Officer of Al Shaqab Racing and Breeding worldwide as Al Shaqab undergo exciting restructure.
Prior to working for Rifa Mustang Europe as CEO for the past three years, Hensey had been running The Curragh Racecourse and training grounds for 15 years, providing him with considerable experience across all elements of the international Thoroughbred racing industry.
Al Shaqab Racing is H E Sheikh Joaan Bin Hamad Al Thani’s private Thoroughbred and Arabian racing and breeding operation, which has worldwide bases including Qatar, France, England, Ireland, the USA and Australia.
Haras de Bouquetot currently stands eight stallions including the likes of Shalaa, Toronado and Olympic Glory in France, while Mehmas and Galileo Gold stand at Tally Ho Stud in Ireland, and Mshawish as well as Khozan stand in the USA.

في إطار سياسة التطوير بالشقب ريسنغ تم تعيين بول هنزي مديراً للعمليات المتعلقة بأنشطة الشقب ريسنغ العالمية في السباقات وإنتاج الخيل، ويمتلك هنزي خبرة واسعة حيث سبق له العمل رئيساً تنفيذياً لشركة ريفا موستانغ يوروب في السنوات الثلاث الماضية، كما تولى قبل ذلك ولمدة 15 عاماً مهمة الإشراف على إدارة مضمار كرا الشهير بأيرلندا، مما أكسبه خبرات كبيرة في جميع جوانب ومجالات سباقات الخيل المهجنة الأصيلة على الصعيد العالمي.
ويعمل الشقب ريسنغ بتوجيهات سعادة الشيخ جوعان بن حمد آل ثاني، سواء على مستوى سباقات أو إنتاج الخيل المهجنة الأصيلة والخيل العربية الأصيلة، وله عدة مقرات في كل من قطر وفرنسا وإنجلترا وأيرلندا والولايات المتحدة وأستراليا، ففي مربط بوكيتو بفرنسا يتواجد حالياً 8 من أفحل الإنتاج المتميزين من بينهم “شلاع” و”تورونادو” و”أولمبيك غلوري”، بينما يتواجد الفحلان “محماس” و”غاليليو غولد” في مربط تالي هو بأيرلندا، وكذلك يتواجد الفحلان “مشوش” و”خوزان” في الولايات المتحدة.
