Embassies and Consulates of the State of Qatar Continue National Day Celebrations

Doha: The diplomatic, consular and representative missions of the State of Qatar continued its celebrations the occasion of the National Day, which falls on Dec. 18, in commemoration of the founder of the state, Sheikh Jassim Bin Muhammad Bin Thani, under the slogan: “We praise you, the Lord of the Throne, We accept your judgment in all actions.”
Their Excellencies, Heads of the diplomatic, consular and representative missions of the State of Qatar abroad raised their highest greetings and blessings to HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, HH the Father Amir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, and all the Qatari people on this occasion, wishing the State of Qatar more progress and prosperity.
The diplomatic celebrations in the capitals and cities of the world witnessed the participation of high-level officials, which reflected Qatar’s distinguished relations with the countries of the world.
In Berlin, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Federal Republic of Germany held a virtual celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
In a speech on this occasion, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Germany Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Thani stressed that the celebration of the National Day is not limited to the anniversary of the founding only, but rather the celebration of the achievements made during the process of construction and development under the wise leadership of HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
The strength of the bilateral relations between the State of Qatar and the Federal Republic of Germany is based on a solid foundation of friendship, respect, cooperation, and common interests, HE the Ambassador said. He added that the political will of both countries in developing bilateral relations was evident in the common visions regarding the regional and international challenges to consolidate peace around the world.
He praised the strong political and economic relations between the two countries, which were reflected in the cultural field, especially in light of the important role played by the Arab cultural house “Al-Diwan” as a bridge between the Arab and German cultures.
In Mogadishu, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Federal Republic of Somalia celebrated the National Day.
In a speech on this occasion, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Somalia Hassan bin Hamza Hashem expressed pride in the great achievements made by the State of Qatar during an exceptional period in which the whole world suffers from the COVID-19 pandemic effects, pointing to Qatar’s pioneering efforts in supporting countries of the world to confront the COVID-19 outbreak.
HE the Ambassador affirmed that the Qatari-Somali relations are witnessing a great development at all levels and fields.
In the context, HE the Ambassador received congratulations from senior officials in the Somali government and ambassadors accredited to Mogadishu on this occasion, expressing their admiration for the great achievements made by the State of Qatar in various fields under its wise leadership.
The Federal Government of Somalia, represented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, sent a cable of congratulations to the leadership of the State of Qatar and the Qatari people, in which it expressed its warmest congratulations on the occasion of the National Day, wishing further progress and prosperity for the Qatari people under the wise leadership.
In Tehran, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Iran held a celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
The celebration was limited to the participation of the members of the mission. HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Iran Mohammed bin Hamad Al Hajri received congratulatory calls and cables from officials, businessmen, and media personnel in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
In Kabul, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan held a celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
The participation was limited to HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Afghanistan Saeed bin Mubarak Al Khayarin, members of the diplomatic mission and administrative staff, due to the COVID-19 conditions.
In Tirana, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Albania held a virtual celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
In a speech, HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Albania Ali bin Hamad Al Marri stressed that December 18 is a day of pride in the country’s past, the glory of the prosperous present, and optimism for a promising future in all fields, at the national and international levels.
The celebration included decorating the facade of the University of Tirana with the Qatari flag, and launching fireworks in the colors of the Qatari flag in the sky at the center of the Albanian capital, Tirana.
In Manila, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of the Philippines held a celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
HE Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Philippines Teodoro Locsin, HE Assistant Secretary of State of the Philippines for the Middle East and African Affairs Leslie Baja, and HE Chief of Staff of the Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Irene B. Natividad attended the ceremony.
The guests of the ceremony were received by HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to the Philippines Dr. Ali bin Ibrahim Al Malki.
In Dushanbe, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Tajikistan celebrated the National Day. Participation in the celebration was restricted to members of the mission, due to the health measures to limit the COVID-19 spread.
In Asuncion, the Embassy of the State of Qatar in the Republic of Paraguay held a virtual celebration on the occasion of the National Day.
In a speech on this occasion, Said bin Hamad Al Marri, Acting Charge d’Affairs at the Embassy of the State of Qatar to Paraguay, referred to the achievements of the state under the wise leadership, in various fields and its prominent role at the international level.
In Addis Ababa, the Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia celebrated the occasion of the National Day.
HE Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Ethiopia Hamad bin Mohammed Al Dossary held a celebration in which members of the embassy, the military attach, and the mission’s staff participated.

الدوحة: واصلت البعثات الدبلوماسية والقنصلية والتمثيلية لدولة قطر في الخارج الاحتفال بمناسبة اليوم الوطني الذي يوافق 18 ديسمبر إحياء لذكرى مؤسس الدولة الشيخ جاسم بن محمد بن ثاني، طيب الله ثراه تحت شعار: “نحمدك يا ذا العرش”.

ففي برلين، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية، احتفالاً افتراضيا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
وأكد سعادة الشيخ عبدالله بن محمد آل ثاني، سفير دولة قطر لدى ألمانيا، في كلمة بهذه المناسبة، أن الاحتفال باليوم الوطني لا يقتصر على ذكرى التأسيس وحسب، ولكنه يعني الاحتفال بالإنجازات التي تحققت خلال مسيرة البناء والتنمية في ظل القيادة الرشيدة لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني، أمير البلاد المفدى “حفظه الله”.
وقال سعادته إن “قوة العلاقات الثنائية بين دولة قطر وجمهورية ألمانيا الاتحادية، تستند على قاعدة متينة من الصداقة القائمة على الاحترام والتعاون والمصالح المشتركة، إذ تجلّت الإرادة السياسية لكلا البلدين في تطوير العلاقات الثنائية في الرؤى المشتركة إزاء طبيعة التحديات التي تفرضها التطورات المختلفة على المستوى الإقليمي والدولي لتدعيم السلام حول العالم.
وأشاد بقوة العلاقات السياسية والاقتصادية بين البلدين، والتي انعكست على الميدان الثقافي، خاصة في ظل الدور المهم الذي يلعبه البيت الثقافي العربي “الديوان” كجسر بين الثقافتين العربية والألمانية .
وفِي مقديشو، احتفلت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية الصومال الفيدرالية، بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
وأعرب سعادة السيد حسن بن حمزة هاشم، سفير دولة قطر لدى الصومال ،في كلمة بهذه المناسبة، عن الفخر والاعتزاز بالإنجازات الكبيرة التي حققتها دولة قطر في ظل فترة استثنائية يعاني العالم كله فيها من آثار جائحة كورونا، وأشار إلى الجهود القطرية الرائدة في دعم دول العالم لمواجهة تفشي جائحة /كوفيد -19/ .
وأكد سعادته أن العلاقات القطرية الصومالية تشهد تطوراً كبيراً على كافة الأصعدة والمجالات.
وفِي السياق تلقى سعادته، التهاني من كبار المسؤولين في الحكومة الصومالية والسفراء المعتمدين لدى مقديشو بهذه المناسبة، معربين عن اعجابهم بالإنجازات الكبيرة التي حققتها دولة قطر في مختلف المجالات تحت قيادتها الرشيدة.
من جانبها ، بعثت الحكومة الفيدرالية ممثلة في وزارة الخارجية والتعاون الدولي برقية تهنئة إلى قيادة دولة قطر، والشعب القطري، حيث أعربت باسمها وباسم الشعب الصومالي وحكومته عن أحر التهاني بهذه المناسبة، سائلة المولى جلت قدرته أن يعيدها على قيادة دولة قطر بموفور الصحة والعافية، وعلى الشعب القطري الشقيق بالمزيد من التقدم والازدهار، في ظل قيادته الحكيمة.
وفي طهران، أقامت سفارة دول قطر لدى الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية احتفالا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
واقتصر الاحتفال على مشاركة أعضاء البعثة، وقد تلقى سعادة السيد محمد بن حمد الهاجري، سفير دولة قطر لدى إيران، اتصالات هاتفية ورسائل من قِبل المسؤولين ورجال الأعمال والإعلاميين في الجمهورية الإسلامية الإيرانية للتهنئة.
وفي كابول، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية أفغانستان الإسلامية احتفالا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
واقتصرت المشاركة على سعادة السيد سعيد بن مبارك الخيارين، سفير دولة قطر لدى أفغانستان، وأعضاء البعثة الدبلوماسيين والموظفين الإداريين، وذلك نظرا للأوضاع الحالية لجائحة كورونا “كوفيد 19”.
وفي تيرانا، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية ألبانيا، احتفالاً افتراضيا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
وأكد سعادة السيد عليّ بن حمد المري، سفير دولة قطر لدى جمهورية ألبانيا، في كلمة له، أن يوم 18 ديسمبر هو يوم للاعتزاز بماضي الوطن وللفخر بالحاضر المزدهر وللتفاؤل بالمستقبل الواعد، ولفت إلى التقدّم الكبير والتنمية الشاملة التي تشهدها الدولة وكذلك الإنجازات التي تم تحقيقها في كافة المجالات وعلى الصعيدين الوطني والدولي.
وتضمن الاحتفال تزيين واجهة جامعة تيرانا بالعلم القطري، وإضاءة سماء وسط العاصمة الألبانية تيرانا، بإطلاق ألعاب نارية بألوان العلم القطري.
وفي مانيلا، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية الفلبين، احتفالا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
حضر الحفل سعادة السيد ثيودورو لوكسين، وزير الشؤون الخارجية بجمهورية الفلبين، وسعادة السيد ليسلي باها، مساعد وزير الخارجية لشؤون الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا، وسعادة السيدة ايرين بي. ناتفيداد، كبيرة المنسقين بمكتب وزير الخارجية.
وكان في استقبال ضيوف الحفل سعادة الدكتور علي بن إبراهيم المالكي، سفير دولة قطر لدى الفلبين.
وفي دوشنبه، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية طاجيكستان، احتفالا باليوم الوطني للدولة. واقتصرت المشاركة في الاحتفال على أعضاء البعثة وذلك نظرا للإجراءات الصحية للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا /كوفيد-19/.
وفي أسونسيون، أقامت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية الباراغواي، احتفالاً افتراضيا بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
وأشار السيد سعيد بن حمد المري، القائم بالأعمال بالإنابة في سفارة دولة قطر لدى الباراغواي ،في كلمة بهذه المناسبة، إلى الإنجازات التي حققتها الدولة في ظل القيادة الحكيمة، في شتّى المجالات ودورها البارز على الصعيد الدولي.
وفِي أديس أبابا، احتفلت سفارة دولة قطر لدى جمهورية إثيوبيا الفيدرالية الديمقراطية، بمناسبة اليوم الوطني للدولة.
وأقام سعادة السيد حمد بن محمد الدوسري، سفير دولة قطر لدى إثيوبيا، حفلا شارك فيه أعضاء السفارة والملحقية العسكرية، وموظفي البعثة.
