Ooredoo distributes Iftar packages at Corniche

DOHA: This week, a host of Ooredoo volunteers distributed dates and water to people passing by the Corniche to kick off the company’s #RamadanWithOoredoo CSR activities.
The group of Ooredoo volunteers arrived before sundown to surprise people driving by Doha’s Corniche with water and dates to break their fast for Iftar.
Manar Khalifa Al Muraikhi, Ooredoo Director of PR and Corporate Communications, said: “We believe in the unity of breaking our fast with families and our customers on Qatar’s beautiful Corniche. We hope everyone had a great time and hope to see you all again during the Holy Month. Ramadan Mubarak to all”.
The volunteers, who represented some of the business units across the company, were stationed at the end of the Corniche near West Bay, to distribute the gifts at sunset to passers-by as well as people driving along the seafront.

قام فريق من متطوعي Ooredoo خلال هذا الأسبوع بتوزيع الماء والتمر على مرتادي كورنيش الدوحة وقت الإفطار، وذلك مع بدء أنشطتها للمسؤولية الاجتماعية ضمن حملة #رمضان_مع_Ooredoo التي تنظمها الشركة خلال شهر رمضان المبارك.
وحول هذه المبادرة، قالت منار خليفة المريخي، مديرة إدارة العلاقات العامة واتصالات الشركة في Ooredoo قطر: “نسعى من خلال أنشطة المسؤولية الاجتماعية التي نقيمها خلال شهر رمضان المبارك لأن نعيش أجواء الشهر الفضيل مع أفراد مجتمعنا في قطر وننشر قيم المحبة والعطاء فيما بيننا، ومن هنا كانت مبادرة توزيع التمر والماء على الصائمين المتواجدين في الكورنيش لتكون لفتة بسيطة نعبر من خلالها عن حبنا لأفراد المجتمع من خلال مشاركتهم الإفطار”.
وقد شارك في هذه المبادرة متطوعون من مختلف أقسام وإدارات Ooredoo عند نهاية طريق الكورنيش بالخليج الغربي، والذين حرصوا على مشاركة لحظات رمضانية مميزة مع أفراد المجتمع.
