QOC: Suspension of local sports activities extended until the end of May

QNA – Doha:
Qatar Olympic Committee has announced an extension of the suspension of all local sports activities until the end of May.
The Olympic Committee noted that the decision is in line with the preventive measures taken by the State of Qatar to reduce the spread of the new Coronavirus (Coved 19) and for the safety of all athletes and participants.
The Qatar Olympic Committee has announced the suspension of all local sports activities until May 14th.

أعلنت اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية تمديد إيقاف جميع الأنشطة الرياضية المحلية حتى نهاية شهر مايو الحالي .
وأشارت اللجنة الأولمبية الى أن القرار يأتي تماشيا مع الإجراءات الوقائية التي اتخذتها دولة قطر للحد من انتشار فيروس كورونا المستجد (كوفيد 19) ، وحرصا على سلامة جميع الرياضيين والمشاركين .
وكانت اللجنة الأولمبية القطرية قد أعلنت إيقاف جميع الأنشطة الرياضية المحلية حتى الرابع عشر من شهر مايو الجاري .
