Lolwah Al-Khater: A new way to politicize the World Cup so everyone can celebrate it in peace

DOHA: “Some categories attempted attempts to politicize the World Cup and reflect their double standards upon it, but now, for the first time the World Cup has been politicized in an ideology that only serves on a certain level.” Assistant Foreign Minister Lolwah Al-Khater said Tuesday. – in an exclusive interview with TRT Arabic channel in Doha.
Indicating to the public and sports levels, she added “I think that there is really a certain festive aspects that does not pay attention to all polarization and ideology attempts, for these are as whirlwind in a cup, no more, no less.”
Her Excellency praised the success of the Qatar 2022 World Cup, saying, “For the first time, the World Cup will be held in a safe country, and all families from all cultures can celebrate it in peace, security, and happiness. I think this is an indicator of unparalleled success.”

الدوحة: قالت سعادة السيد لولوة الخاطر مساعدة وزير الخارجية ، الثلاثاء، “إن هناك حالة من ازدواجية المعايير ومحاولات لتسييس كأس العالم من بعض الفئات”.
وأضافت الخاطر – في لقاء خاص مع قناة TRT عربي بالدوحة – إنه “لأول مرة يسيّس كأس العالم بهذا الطريقة، لكن هذا التسييس وهذه الأدلجة هي على مستوى معيّن فقط”.
وأشارت مساعد وزير الخارجية إلى أنه على المستويات الجماهيرية والرياضية، “أظن أن هناك فعلاً حالة احتفالية لا تعبأ أبداً بكل محاولات الاستقطاب والأدلجة الحاصلة، فهي عبارة عن زوبعة في فنجان لا أكثر ولا أقل”.
وأشادت سعادتها بنجاح مونديال قطر 2022 قائلةً “لأول مرة يقام كأس العالم في بلد بهذا الأمان، ولأول مرة تستطيع جميع الأسر أن تحتفل من جميع الثقافات في حالة من السلام والأمان والسعادة، فأظن أن هذا مقياس ومؤشر شعبي على نجاح منقطع النظير”.
