Qatar starts giving cash aid to 100,000 Gaza families
قطر تبدأ صرف المساعدات النقدية لـ 100 ألف أسرة في غزة

HE the Chairman of the Qatar Committee for the Reconstruction of Gaza ambassador Mohamed al-Emadi said that the Committee will begin Saturday disbursing cash assistance to the needy families in the Gaza Strip. He said that the distribution process is implemented through the post offices in the governorates of the Gaza Strip for 100,000 families – $100 per family.
The distribution is carried out in co-operation with the relevant government agencies to meet safety standards for beneficiaries and to maintain sufficient distance between them, as part of preventive measures to address the outbreak of the coronavirus (Covid-19).
Al-Emadi said that the distribution will continue for about two weeks and that each beneficiary will be notified of the specific receiving dates to avoid crowding.

أعلن السفير محمد العمادي رئيس اللجنة القطرية لإعادة إعمار غزة، أن اللجنة ستبدأ عملية صرف المساعدات النقدية للأسر المتعففة في قطاع غزة، يوم السبت.
وأوضح السفير العمادي، أن عملية الصرف ستتم عبر فروع مكاتب البريد في محافظات قطاع غزة لـ 100 ألف أسرة، بواقع 100 دولار للأسرة الواحدة.
وبيّن سعادته أن عملية الصرف ستتم بالتعاون مع الجهات الحكومية المختصة، لضمان تحقيق معايير السلامة للمستفيدين والحفاظ على مسافات كافية بينهم، وذلك ضمن الإجراءات الوقائية لمواجهة تفشي فيروس كورونا( كوفيد -19) .
وأشار العمادي إلى أن عملية التوزيع ستستمر لنحو أسبوعين، وسيتم تبليغ المواطنين بمواعيد الاستلام المحددة تفاديا لحدوث تكدسات للمواطنين في مكاتب البريد.
