Ooredoo main sponsor of Disaster Management Camp

DOHA: Ooredoo yestedray announced that the company is once again the Main Sponsor of the Disaster Management Camp in Qatar.

The annual Disaster Management Camp is now in its eighth year and aims to build a well-trained base of volunteers who can respond to disasters timely and effectively.

The Camp, which this year is being held at the Marine Scout Camp, Al Khor, from October 23 to November 1, will be attended by 250 trainees and trainers from Qatari government bodies and NGOs including friendly national societies, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (IFRC), and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)

أعلنت «ooredoo» عن لعبها مجدداً دور الراعي الرئيسي لمخيم إدارة الكوارث، الذي ينظمه الهلال الأحمر القطري سنوياً.

وهذه هي النسخة الثامنة للمخيم الذي يهدف إلى بناء قاعدة مؤهلة من المتطوعين المدربين والقادرين على التعامل مع الكوارث بصورة فورية وفعالة.

ويقام المخيم هذا العام في المخيم الكشفي البحري بمدينة الخور، في الفترة من 23 أكتوبر وحتى 1 نوفمبر. ويشارك في المخيم 250 متدرباً ومدرباً، يمثلون جهات حكومية وغير حكومية من قطر، إلى جانب مشاركين من جميع أنحاء العالم، مثل الاتحاد الدولي لجمعيات الصليب الأحمر والهلال الأحمر، واللجنة الدولية للصليب الأحمر.;
