Money exchanges in Qatar to reopen from today
إعادة افتتاح محلات الصرافة في قطر إبتداءً من اليوم
QNA – Doha:
In continuation of the measures the State of Qatar has taken to limit the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic and to meet the public needs in a manner consistent with medical and preventive guidelines, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry has decided to reopen money exchange service offices with the mandatory application of precautionary measures, starting Tuesday, May 12.
Procedures include requiring visitors to wear masks, following social distancing guidelines, measuring temperature, and allowing a certain number of customers in at the same time, in addition to applying other preventive measures specified by the Ministry of Public Health, provided that the working hours are limited to six hours a day for employees working at money exchange service offices and allowing overtime for two paid hours so that the total of working hours does not exceed eight hours. Money exchange service offices are also required to take the necessary measures to prevent crowding, including providing instructions, guidelines, and security personnel to assist customers and make sure social distancing guidelines are followed.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry calls upon money exchange service offices and the public to adhere to the instructions and preventive measures for their safety and those around them and notes that it will take all legal measures against violators.

استكمالاً للإجراءات التي اتخذتها دولة قطر للحد من انتشار وباء كوفيد-19 وتلبية للمستجدات والاحتياجات العامة الملحة بما لا يتعارض مع المعطيات الطبية والوقائية، فقد قررت وزارة التجارة والصناعة إعادة افتتاح محلات الصرافة مع تطبيق الإجراءات الاحترازية، ابتداء من اليوم الثلاثاء الموافق 12 مايو 2020.
تشمل هذه الإجراءات إلزام مرتادي المحلات بارتداء الكمامات والتباعد الاجتماعي وقياس درجة الحرارة والسماح بعدد معين من الزبائن في الوقت الواحد وغيرها من إجراءات الوقاية التي تحددها وزارة الصحة العامة، على أن تكون ساعات العمل ست ساعات في اليوم للموظفين في محلات الصرافة، والسماح بالعمل الإضافي لمدة ساعتين مدفوعتين الأجر ليكون مجموع الساعات ثمانية ساعات عمل كحد أقصى. كما يشترط على محل الصرافة توفير متطلبات منع الازدحام والتكدس من تعليمات وإرشادات وموظفين أمن لمساعدة الزبائن وتنظيم عملية التباعد.
وتهيب وزارة التجارة والصناعة بمحلات الصرافة والجمهور الالتزام بالتعليمات والإجراءات الوقائية من أجل سلامتهم وسلامة من حولهم، وتذكر بأنها ستطبق كافة الإجراءات القانونية ضد المحلات المخالفة.
