How do you register your children online in public schools for the new academic year?
كيف تُسجل أبنائك في المدارس الحكومية إلكترونياً للعام الأكاديمي الجديد؟

According to the government portal “Hukoomi”, parents can enroll their children (new students) in public schools as part of early online registration for the next academic year in accordance with specific dates and conditions.
“Parents can choose the nearest school to register,” Qatar’s e-portal said, adding that “the registration system for public schools allows students to be registered through the school and follow up students who have been enrolled by parents, as well as enable the Education Authority to follow up on what has been registered by students either by parents or by the school. The system shows the capacity of each school, the number of students enrolled in it and the number of vacancies that are instantly available.”
The portal explained how to submit the application electronically as follows:
1. Create a new account or sign in to your previously identified account.
2. Update the parent’s data if it is not previously updated, enter the required data, and then click on “Update”.”
3. Click on “Early register for new student” and fill out the application form, then click on “Next”.
4- Search for schools according to the geographic data of your home.
5- Click on the “Confirmation of Choice” to register the student at a school near your home where there are vacancies.
6- Press “OK” after communicating with the school and making sure that transportation is available.
Parents are required to attach the following documents:
1- Certificate of “To Whom It Is Interested” from “electricity & water department “, or an “electricity & water bill” or lease with the electricity number
2- A copy of the student’s ID card, his birth certificate and the certificate of his guardian’s employer in the case of resident students
3- A copy of the birth certificate for children of Qatari mothers and children of citizens of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries.
4- Click on the “Next” and review the data of the student, guardian and school.
5- Select the “I agree” box after reading the message on the acknowledgment screen, pressing next, and then “Data approval”.
The government portal “Hukoomi” confirmed that this service does not have a fee.
Early online registration dates for the next academic year 2020-2021 are set according to the following dates:
Qataris: May 3 to June 18, 2020
Children of Qatari mothers: May 17 to May 28, 2020
GCC nationals: June 7 to June 11, 2020
Children of residents of all other nationalities: June 14 to June 18, 2202
The minimum age for admission was also set as follows:
Kindergarten: Qataris, children of Qatari mothers and children of GCC nationals, born until 2016/12/31
Preliminary: Qataris, children of Qatari mothers and children of GCC nationals, born until 2015/12/31
First grade: Qataris, children of Qatari mothers and gcc nationals, born until 31 December 2014, and other nationalities, born until 30 September 2014

ذكرت بوابة “حكومي” الإلكترونية، أنه يمكن لأولياء الأمور تسجيل أبنائهم (الطلاب الجدد) بالمدارس الحكومية ضمن التسجيل الإلكتروني المبكر للعام الأكاديمي القادم وفق لمواعيد وشروط محددة.
وأوضحت بوابة قطر الإلكترونية، أنه “يمكن لأولياء الأمور اختيار أقرب مدرسة لمحل سكنهم للتسجيل فيها”، مضيفة أن “نظام التسجيل للمدارس الحكومية يتيح تسجيل الطلبة من خلال المدرسة ومتابعة الطلبة الذين تمّ تسجيلهم من قِبل أولياء الأمور، فضلاً عن تمكين هيئة التعليم من متابعة ما تمّ تسجيله من الطلبة سواءً من قبل أولياء الأمور أو من قِبل المدرسة. ويبين النظام الطاقة الاستيعابية لكل مدرسة وعدد الطلبة المسجلين بها وعدد الشواغر الموجودة فوريًا”.
وشرحت البوابة طريقة تقديم الطلب إلكترونيا كالاتي:
1- إنشاء حساب جديد أو تسجيل الدخول في حسابك المعرّف سابقًا.
2- تحديث بيانات ولي الأمر إن لم تكن محدثة سابقًا وإدخال البيانات المطلوبة، ثم الضغط على “تحديث”.
3- الضغط على “قم بالتسجيل المبكر لطالب جديد” وتعبئة نموذج الطلب، ثم الضغط على “التالي”.
4- البحث عن المدارس حسب البيانات الجغرافية الخاصة بمسكنك.
5- الضغط على “تأكيد الاختيار” لتسجيل الطالب في إحدى المدارس القريبة من مسكنك والتي يتوفر فيها شواغر.
6- الضغط على “موافق” بعد التواصل مع المدرسة والتأكد من توفر المواصلات.
ويطالب أولياء الأمور بإرفاق المستندات التالية:
1- شهادة “لمن يهمه الأمر” من “كهرماء” أو فاتورة “كهرماء” أو عقد الإيجار موضحًا به رقم الكهرباء
2- صورة من البطاقة الشخصية للطالب وشهادة ميلاده وشهادة جهة عمل ولي أمره في حال الطلبة المقيمين
3- نسخة من شهادة الميلاد في حال الطلبة أبناء القطريات وأبناء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية
4- الضغط على “التالي” ومراجعة البيانات الخاصة بالطالب وولي الأمر والمدرسة.
5- تحديد مربع “أوافق” بعد قراءة الرسالة الموجودة في شاشة الإقرار، والضغط على “التالي”، ثم “اعتماد البيانات”.
وأكدت بوابة “حكومي” أن هذا الخدمة لا يوجد عليها رسوم.
وحددت مواعيد التسجيل الإلكتروني المبكر للعام الدراسي القادم 2020-2021 وفقا للمواعيد التالية:
القطريون: من 3 مايو إلى 18 يونيو 2020
أبناء القطريات: من 17 مايو إلى 28 مايو 2020
أبناء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي: من 7 يونيو إلى 11 يونيو 2020
أبناء المقيمين من جميع الجنسيات الأخرى: من 14 يونيو إلى 18 يونيو 2020
كما حددت الحد الأدنى لسن القبول كالتالي:
الروضة: القطريون وأبناء القطريات وأبناء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون، المواليد حتى تاريخ 2016/12/31
التمهيدي: القطريون وأبناء القطريات وأبناء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون، المواليد حتى تاريخ 2015/12/31
الصف الأول: القطريون وأبناء القطريات وأبناء مواطني دول مجلس التعاون الخليجي، المواليد حتى تاريخ 31/12/2014، والجنسيات الأخرى، المواليد حتى تاريخ 30/9/2014
