Ehteraz app updated with expanded security and privacy features: MoPH
وزارة الصحة العامة: إصدار تحديث شامل لتطبيق «احتراز» لضمان أمن وخصوصية كافة المستخدمين

The new updated Ehteraz app, now available on app stores, has stronger security and privacy features.
“The Ehteraz app’s user privacy and platform security are of the utmost importance. A comprehensive update of the app rolled out on Sunday 24 May with expanded security and privacy features for all users,” Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) said in a statement.
There were a few concerns about the privacy features of the Covid-19 tracing app’s earlier version.
“These updates are part of the continuous work to review and improve the app’s security, including issues brought to our attention by third party groups,” MoPH added.
“Ehteraz is a vital component in our collective fight against COVID-19 and we thank Qatar’s citizens and residents for their cooperation,” Ministry added.

أعلنت وزارة الصحة العامة عن إصدار تحديث شامل لتطبيق «احتراز» أول أمس الأحد 24 مايو الجاري يتضمن مميزات موسعة متعلقة بالأمن والخصوصية لكافة المستخدمين.
وقالت الوزارة إن هذه التحديثات تعد جزء من عملها المستمر لمراجعة وتحسين أمن التطبيق بما في ذلك المسائل والملاحظات التي وردت من الأطراف الأخرى.
ووجهت وزارة الصحة العامة الشكر لجميع المواطنين والمقيمين على تعاونهم في المساهمة في احتواء مدى تفشي فيروس كورونا (كوفيد-19) من خلال تحميل تطبيق احتراز.
ويعمل تطبيق احتراز الذي تم إطلاقه مؤخراً على تحقيق عدة أهداف تتعلق بوقاية المجتمع من الإصابة بفيروس كورونا «كوفيد – 19»، وتعزيز الإجراءات الوقائية للحد من انتشار الفيروس في دولة قطر.
