Doha: FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 CEO Nasser Al Khater expressed his pleasance that the World Cup opening ceremony came in the best way.
In his statement Sunday, Al Khater said that he has been waiting for this moment for a long time, hoping to satisfy the hopes of everyone. He extended his thanks to all the teams that worked hard to reach this moment and all officials who were behind this World Cup vision.
He added that he wishes all the best for all the World Cup teams, especially the Qatari national team, hoping the fans to have great time during their stay in Qatar and have the chance to get to know the country’s cultures and traditions.
He expressed satisfaction with all the preparations made so far, hoping that the tournament would be a success and exceptional as promised.

الدوحة: أعرب السيد ناصر الخاطر الرئيس التنفيذي لكأس العالم FIFA قطر 2022، عن سعادته بخروج حفل افتتاح البطولة الأمس باستاد البيت في أبهى حلة.
وقال الخاطر في تصريح له اليوم: “منذ سنوات طويلة وأنا أنتظر هذه اللحظة ونتمنى أن نكون عند حسن ظن الجميع، وأشكر كل الفرق التي عملت واجتهدت للوصول لهذه النقطة، والشكر موصول لجميع المسؤولين الذين وجّهوا وكانوا وراء هذه الرؤية للمونديال”.
وأضاف: “نتمنى التوفيق لكل المنتخبات في هذا المونديال وخاصة منتخبنا القطري وأن نكون عند حُسن ظن كل الجماهير التي تزور حالياً قطر وتتعرف على عاداتنا وثقافتنا”.
وتابع: “نحن راضون تماماً على كل استعداداتنا للبطولة ونتمنى أن تكون بطولة ناجحة واستثنائية مثلما وعدنا”.
