QNB Group Announces Closure of Syndication of EUR 1.75B Senior Unsecured Term Loan Facility

Doha: QNB Group announced the successful closing of the syndication of its EUR 1.75 billion three-year senior unsecured term loan facility.
During the syndication process, QNB received a large over subscription with the syndication well supported by 31 participating banks. The strong over subscription reflects investors’ confidence in QNB Group’s financial strength and its position as the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa region.
Credit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, ING Bank N.V., Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A., Societe Generale and UniCredit were the initial mandated lead arrangers and underwriters of the facility. Societe Generale was the documentation agent and facility agent.
QNB Group was established in 1964 and was listed on Qatar Stock Exchange in 1997. Its authorized capital, paid-up capital and total number of subscribed shares are QR9,236,428,570, and the number of its tradable shares is 4,616,214,860.

الدوحة: أعلنت مجموعة QNB، عن نجاحها في ترتيب قرض تجمع بنكي غير مضمون بمبلغ 1.75 مليار يورو لأجل ثلاث سنوات.
وتلقت مجموعة QNB، خلال عملية ترتيب القرض المجمع، عددا كبيرا من طلبات الاشتراك فاقت المطلوب، وكان الإصدار مدعوما بشكل مميز من قبل البنوك المشاركة التي بلغ عددها 31 بنكا.
ويعتبر هذا الإقبال الكبير دليلا على ثقة المستثمرين في المركز المالي لمجموعة QNB، ومكانتها كأكبر مؤسسة مالية في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وأفريقيا.
وتم تعيين كل من Crédit Agricole و ING Bank و Intesa Sanpaolo و Société Générale و UniCredit كمدراء للترتيب والاشتراك في القرض، وعمل Société Générale كوكيل توثيق ووكيل تسهيلات.
جدير بالذكر أنه تم تأسيس مجموعة /QNB/ عام 1964، وتم إدراجها في بورصة قطر عام 1997، وأن رأس المال المصرح به ورأس المالي المدفوع وإجمالي عدد الأسهم المكتتب بها 9 مليارات و236 مليونا و428 ألفا و570 ريالا، كما أن عدد الأسهم القابلة للتداول 4 مليارات و616 مليونا و214 ألفا و860 سهما.
