Amir attends banquet held on occasion of NMoQ opening

Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani attended the dinner banquet which was held at the Sheikh Abdullah bin Jassim Al Thani Palace on the occasion of the opening of the National Museum of Qatar in honour of H H the Amir and the guests invited to the opening ceremony. The banquet was attended by Father Amir H H Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani and H H Sheikha Moza bint Nasser.
H H Sheikh Jassim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Personal Representative of H H the Amir; H H Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al Thani, H H Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Thani, H E Sheikh Jassem bin Khalifa Al Thani, Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, and Shura Council Speaker H E Ahmed bin Abdullah bin Zaid Al Mahmoud attended the event.
It was attended, as well, by the Vice-President of the Republic of Turkey, Fuat Oktay; the Prime Minister of the French Republic Edouard Philippe, and the Minister of Heritage and Culture of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Haitham bin Tariq Al Said, and the Minister of State for International Culture at the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, Michelle Muntefering.
The banquet was also attended by the former President of the French Republic, Nicolas Sarkozy; the Mayor of Rome in the Italian Republic, Virginia Raggi; the Adviser at Republic of Azerbaijan, Souda Mohammed Aliev; and a number of Their Excellencies the sheikhs, ministers and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the State, in addition to a number of prominent figures in the field of politics, culture, art, media, and a number of heads of companies and international institutions, directors of museums, academics, film directors, celebrities and those interested in heritage sites from around the world.
حضر صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، مأدبة العشاء التي أقيمت في قصر الشيخ عبدالله بن جاسم آل ثاني بمناسبة افتتاح متحف قطر الوطني، وذلك تكريما لأصحاب السمو والمعالي والسعادة ممثلي رؤساء الدول الشقيقة والصديقة، والضيوف المدعوين لحفل الافتتاح.
حضر المأدبة صاحب السمو الأمير الوالد الشيخ حمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، وصاحبة السمو الشيخة موزا بنت ناصر.
كما حضرها سمو الشيخ جاسم بن حمد آل ثاني الممثل الشخصي للأمير، وسمو الشيخ عبدالله بن خليفة آل ثاني، وسمو الشيخ محمد بن خليفة آل ثاني، وسعادة الشيخ جاسم بن خليفة آل ثاني، ومعالي الشيخ عبدالله بن ناصر بن خليفة آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، وسعادة السيد أحمد بن عبدالله بن زيد آل محمود رئيس مجلس الشورى.
وحضرها أيضا دولة السيد فؤاد أقطاي نائب الرئيس بالجمهورية التركية الشقيقة، ودولة السيد إدوارد فيليب رئيس الوزراء بالجمهورية الفرنسية، وصاحب السمو السيد هيثم بن طارق آل سعيد وزير التراث والثقافة بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة، وسعادة السيدة ميشيل مونتيفيرنغ وزيرة الدولة للسياسة الثقافية في وزارة الخارجية بالجمهورية الألمانية الاتحادية.
كما حضرها فخامة السيد نيكولا ساركوزي، رئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية الأسبق، وسعادة السيدة فيرجينيا ريدجي عمدة بلدية روما بالجمهورية الإيطالية، وسعادة السيدة سوداء محمد أليف المستشارة بجمهورية آذربيجان، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الشيوخ والوزراء ورؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية المعتمدين لدى الدولة، وعدد من رؤساء كبرى الشركات والمؤسسات العالمية، بالإضافة إلى عدد من كبار الشخصيات السياسية والثقافية والفنية والإعلامية، ومجموعة كبيرة من رؤساء الشركات والمؤسسات العالمية ومديري المتاحف والأكاديميين والمخرجين السينمائيين والمشاهير والمهتمين بمجال التراث من مختلف دول العالم.
