China’s Internet Firms Log Fast Growth in 2021

Beijing: China’s internet sector registered robust growth in business revenue and profits in the first 11 months of 2021, serving as a key driver to shore up the country’s economic growth.
The business revenue of major internet and related service companies in the country amounted to about 1.42 trillion yuan (about 222.7 billion US dollars) during the period, surging 22.3 percent from a year ago, data from the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) showed.
Spending on research and development in major internet and related service companies rose 5.6 percent year on year to 67.01 billion yuan in the first 11 months. The growth rate went up by 3 percentage points from that registered in the first 10 months.
MIIT statistics cover enterprises with annual revenue from internet services of above 5 million yuan in the previous year.
The electronic information manufacturing sector raked in 679.7 billion yuan in total profits in the first 11 months, surging 29.8 percent year on year. The operating revenue of the sector from January to November totaled 12.49 trillion yuan, up 14.7 percent year on year.

وبحسب بيانات أصدرتها وزارة الصناعة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات بلغ إجمالي أرباح كبرى شركات الإنترنت وشركات الخدمات ذات الصلة 128 مليار يوان، بزيادة 14.8 بالمئة على أساس سنوي.
وارتفع الإنفاق على البحوث والتطوير في كبرى شركات الإنترنت وشركات الخدمات ذات الصلة بواقع 5.6 بالمائة على أساس سنوي إلى 67.01 مليار يوان خلال الأشهر الـ11 الأولى من العام 2021، بزيادة 3 نقاط مئوية مقارنة مع الإنفاق المسجل خلال الأشهر الـ10 الأولى من ذات العام.
وتغطي إحصاءات وزارة الصناعة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات الشركات التي كانت إيراداتها من خدمات الإنترنت في العام السابق أكثر من 5 ملايين يوان.
ومن جهة اخرى ، حقق قطاع تصنيع المعلومات الإلكترونية أرباحا بلغ إجماليها 679.7 مليار يوان (حوالي 106.7 مليار دولار أمريكي) خلال الأشهر الـ11 الأولى من العام، بزيادة 29.8 بالمائة على أساس سنوي. وبلغت قيمة الإيرادات التشغيلية للقطاع 12.49 تريليون يوان، بزيادة 14.7 بالمائة على أساس سنوي.
