Doha: The Embassy of the State of Qatar to the Republic of Turkey announced that, as of Friday, December 18th, citizens arriving from Turkey to Qatar must commit to hotel quarantine at their own expense for a week.
The embassy pointed out – in a statement published on its official account on Twitter – that, according to public health indicators in the State of Qatar and the rest of the world, and in continuation of the implementation of travel and return policy to the State of Qatar, the Coronavirus green list has been updated on the website of the Ministry of Public Health, and accordingly starting. December 18th, ” Citizens arriving from Turkey to the State of Qatar must commit to hotel quarantine at their own expense for a week, by reserving hotel accommodations on (Discover Qatar) website before their arrival to the State of Qatar.”
Their exit will be on the sixth day of the hotel reservation, given that they conduct a Covid-19 test, and if the result is negative, the quarantine period ends with the completion of the seventh day, and if it is positive, the person is transferred to isolation.

الدوحة: أعلنت سفارة دولة قطر لدى الجمهورية التركية أن على المواطنين القادمين من تركيا إلى قطر اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 18 ديسمبر الجاري الالتزام بالحجر الفندقي على نفقتهم الخاصة لمدة أسبوع .
ولفتت السفارة – في بيان نشرته على حسابها الرسمي بموقع تويتر –إلى أنه وفقاً لمؤشرات الصحة العامة في دولة قطر وبقية العالم واستمرارا لتطبيق سياسة السفر والعودة إلى دولة قطر، تم تحديث القائمة الخضراء الخاصة بفيروس كورونا على الموقع الإلكتروني لوزارة الصحة العامة .. وعليه فابتداء من 18 ديسمبر الجاري “يجب على المواطنين القادمين من تركيا إلى دولة قطر الالتزام بالحجر الفندقي على نفقتهم الخاصة لمدة أسبوع وذلك من خلال حجز الإقامة بالفندق على الموقع الإلكتروني (اكتشف قطر) قبل وصولهم إلى دولة قطر”.
وأضافت أن خروجهم سيكون في اليوم السادس من تاريخ بداية الحجز الفندقي مرتبطا بإجراء فحص كوفيد – 19 فإن كانت النتيجة سلبية فإن فترة الحجر تنتهي بإتمام اليوم السابع، وإن كانت إيجابية يتم نقل الشخص إلى العزل .
