Washington: Apple intends to increase the size of RAM, performance, and support Wi-Fi connection speed in the upcoming iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus.
The company plans to boost the RAM capacity of the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus from 6 GB to 8 GB, surpassing the current versions of the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models. This boost will increase the level of multitasking performance, running several applications and moving between them.
The company expects that all upcoming iPhone 16 phones will come with the same RAM size, including the high-priced Pro versions.
It is also expected that the new phones will support Wi-Fi 6E, a modern standard of Wi-Fi communications compatible with the 6 GHz frequency, and provides high communication speed, little delay time, and a wide coverage range, provided that appropriate devices routers are used.
The current iPhone 15 Pro phones already support Wi-Fi 6E connections, and current reports indicate that Apple may add Wi-Fi 7 support in the upcoming iPhone 16 Pro versions after the Wi-Fi Alliance announced the availability of Wi-Fi 7 standard at the beginning of the current year 2024, and the iPhone 16 series will be launched during the last quarter of this year, as usual.

ومن المتوقع كذلك أن تدعم الهواتف الجديدة المذكورة اتصال واي فاي 6E، وهو معيار حديث من اتصالات واي فاي متوافق مع تردد 6 جيجابايت، ويوفر سرعة اتصالات عالية وزمن تأخير قليل ونطاق تغطية واسع بشرط استخدام أجهزة (راوتر) مناسبة.
الجدير بالذكر أن هواتف آيفون 15 برو الحالية تدعم بالفعل اتصالات واي فاي 6E، وتشير التقارير الحالية إلى أن آبل قد تضيف دعم واي فاي 7 في إصدارات آيفون 16 برو القادمة بعد إعلان تحالف واي فاي إتاحة ذلك المعيار مع بداية عام 2024 الجاري، وسيتم إطلاق سلسلة هواتف آيفون 16 خلال الربع الأخير من العام الجاري كما هو معتاد.
