Removal of the traffic signal connecting the Wholesale Market St. and Doha Expressway
إزالة التقاطع الضوئي الرابط بين شارع سوق المركزي وطريق الدوحة السريع
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the full closure of the light signal connecting the Wholesale Market Street and Doha Expressway permanently, starting from Friday 20 March 2020 in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During the traffic change, the traffic flow from the Wholesale Market Street towards Doha Expressway and Mesaimeer Interchange will be closed while traffic between Doha Expressway will remain open freely in both directions.
Road users heading towards Doha Expressway and Mesaimeer Interchange through Wholesale Market Street can use Bu Hammour Interchange on Sabah Al Ahmad Corridor and then take left to the Industrial Area Road and Mesaimeer Interchange to reach their destinations.
Ashghal will use the appropriate signs to guide the road users on this closure to maintain their safety. Ashghal requests road users to abide by speed limit and signage accordingly.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إغلاق مروري كامل للتقاطع الضوئي الرابط بين شارع السوق المركزي مع طريق الدوحة السريع بشكل دائم اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 20 مارس 2020 بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وخلال فترة التغيير المروري، سيتم إغلاق الحركة المرورية القادمة من شارع السوق المركزي في اتجاه طريق الدوحة السريع وتقاطع مسيمير، مع الإبقاء على الحركة المرورية بين طريق الدوحة السريع وتقاطع مسيمير مفتوحة في الاتجاهين.
يتعين على رواد الطريق المتجهين إلى طريق الدوحة السريع وتقاطع مسيمير عبر شارع السوق المركزي استخدام تقاطع بوهامور على محور صباح الأحمد والانعطاف يسارا إلى طريق المنطقة الصناعية ثم تقاطع مسيمير وصولا لوجهاتهم.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التحويل، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق اتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
