Met Dept warns of fog Friday, Saturday; strong winds, dust today
الأرصاد الجوية تحذر من الغبار اليوم والضباب يوم الجمعة والرياح القوية يوم السبت
Department of Meteorology Thursday warned of the chances of mist/fog formation in some areas during night and early morning on Friday and Saturday because of an expected rise in relative humidity. The Dept had advised the public to be careful and to follow latest updates through their official social media accounts.
The daily weather report released by the Met Dept also warned of strong winds and blowing dust Thursday until 6pm. Temperature will be moderate during daytime and relatively cold by night.
Offshore, it will be slight dust at times, the report added, warning of strong wind and high seas.
Wind inshore will be northwesterly 08 to 18 knot, reaching to 22 knot at some places daytime with gusting exceeding 26 knot at times.
Offshore, it will be northwesterly 18 to 25 knot, gusting to 34 knot a times.
Visibility will be 4 to 8/3 kilometers or less at places at times.
Sea state inshore will be 2 to 4 feet, rises to 5 feet at times. Offshore, it will be 5 to 8 feet, rises to 12 feet at times.
حذرت إدارة الأرصاد الجوية يوم الخميس من فرص تشكل الضباب في بعض المناطق أثناء الليل وفي الصباح الباكر يومي الجمعة والسبت بسبب الارتفاع المتوقع في الرطوبة النسبية. وقد نصحت الإدارة العامة بتوخي الحذر ومتابعة آخر التحديثات من خلال حساباتها على وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي.
كما حذر تقرير الطقس اليومي الصادر عن إدارة الأرصاد الجوية من رياح قوية غبارية تهب الخميس حتى الساعة 6 مساءً. ستكون درجة الحرارة معتدلة خلال النهار وتنخفض درجة الحرارة نسبيًا في الليل.
ستكون الرياح الساحلية في الشمال الغربي من 8 إلى 18 عقدة ، وتصل إلى 22 عقدة في بعض الأماكن خلال النهار مع وجود عاصفة تتجاوز 26 عقدة في بعض الأحيان.
في الخارج ، سيكون من الشمال الغربي من 18 إلى 25 عقدة ، ويتدفق إلى 34 عقدة في كل مرة.
ستكون الرؤية من 4 إلى 8/3 كيلومترات أو أقل في أماكن في بعض الأحيان.
ستكون حالة البحر على الشاطئ من 2 إلى 4 أقدام ، وترتفع إلى 5 أقدام في بعض الأحيان. في الخارج ، سيكون من 5 إلى 8 أقدام ، وترتفع إلى 12 قدمًا في بعض الأحيان.
