Amir presides over meeting of supreme committee for crisis management on Covid-19

His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al -Thani has directed the State’s officials to provide the necessary services to citizens and residents, foremost of which is to provide safety and protection for them from the new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to ensure continuing their normal life.
This came during His Highness the Amir presiding over the meeting of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management to combat the new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) to determine the efforts made by the competent authorities in the State to prevent this epidemic , as the authorities presented to His Highness the ‘the national executive plan to confront the new Coronavirus disease (COVID-19)
During the meeting, which was held at the National Leadership today, His Highness the Amir stressed the importance of the contribution of all State’s departments, including public and private sector institutions, to the efforts of the competent authorities to prevent the epidemic, and their social responsibility in such circumstances, and that all citizens and residents do their duty to reduce its spread, by applying the preventive measures recommended by the Ministry of Public Health.
The meeting was attended by HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al -Thani, who is also the Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management, and members of the Committee, including Their Excellencies, Ministers and senior officials concerned in the State. وجه حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، المسؤولين في الدولة بتقديم الخدمات الضرورية للمواطنين والمقيمين وفي مقدمتها توفير الأمن والحماية لهم من وباء كورونا المستجد “كوفيد 19″، لضمان استمرار ممارسة حياتهم بشكل طبيعي.
جاء ذلك خلال ترؤس سموه اجتماع اللجنة العليا لإدارة الأزمات الخاص بمكافحة فيروس كورونا المستجد “كوفيد 19″، للوقوف على الجهود التي تبذلها الجهات المختصة في الدولة للتصدي لهذا الوباء حيث عرضت الجهات على سموه “الخطة الوطنية التنفيذية لمواجهة فيروس كورونا المستجد “كوفيد 19”.
وأكد سمو الأمير المفدى خلال الاجتماع، الذي عقد بمركز القيادة الوطني اليوم، على أهمية مساهمة جميع جهات الدولة بما فيها مؤسسات القطاعين العام والخاص في الجهود التي تبذلها الجهات المختصة للتصدي للوباء، وقيامها بمسؤوليتها الاجتماعية في مثل هذه الظروف، وبقيام جميع المواطنين والمقيمين بواجبهم للحد من انتشاره، وذلك بتطبيق الإجراءات الوقائية التي أوصت بها وزارة الصحة العامة.
حضر الاجتماع معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية رئيس اللجنة العليا لإدارة الأزمات وأعضاء اللجنة من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء وكبار المسؤولين المعنيين في الدولة.
