Amir, French president hold telephone talks
صاحب السمو يتلقّى اتصالاً هاتفياً من الرئيس الفرنسي
His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Sunday held a telephone conversation with French President Emmanuel Macron.
During the phone call, which the Amir received from the French president, the two sides reviewed the close bilateral relations and means of promoting them in all fields. T
hey also reviewed the most important developments on the regional and international arenas, especially the situation in Libya and ways to maintain security and stability in the country, in addition to the situation in Afghanistan.
President Macron praised Qatar’s efforts in reaching US-Taliban peace agreement which was signed in Doha on Saturday.
تلقّى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، اتصالاً هاتفياً، أمس، من فخامة الرئيس إيمانويل ماكرون رئيس الجمهورية الفرنسية الصديقة.
جرى خلال الاتصال استعراض العلاقات الثنائية الوثيقة بين قطر وفرنسا وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها في شتى المجالات، كما تم استعراض أبرز المستجدات على الساحتين الإقليمية والدولية، وخصوصاً الوضع في ليبيا والسبل الكفيلة بحفظ الأمن والاستقرار فيها، بالإضافة إلى الوضع في أفغانستان.
وأشاد الرئيس الفرنسي بجهود دولة قطر في التوصل إلى اتفاق السلام بين الولايات المتحدة الأميركية وحركة طالبان الأفغانية، الذي وقّع بالدوحة بالأمس.
