MoI receives ISO 28000 for industrial security
«الداخلية» تحصل على شهادة الجودة «أيزو 28000» الخاصة بالأمن الصناعي
The Ministry of Interior (MoI), represented by the General Directorate of Industrial Security, has received the international accreditation certificate ISO 28000 for quality in supply chain for industrial security.
Director General of Industrial Security Lt. Col. Khalifa Mohammad Al Attiyah affirmed that this certificate is an international accreditation for the level of security services carried out by the directorate in securing oil and gas production sources in the country, adding that obtaining the ISO 28000 certificate is an important milestone in the way of developing the directorate in order to improve the level of securing oil plants, in a manner that achieves and enhances security success in the tasks assigned to it.
After receiving the certificate from First Secretary of the British Embassy in Doha and Director of Trade & Investment, Department for International Trade, Jinoos Shariati, Lt. Col. Al Attiyah highlighted the stages of the process of obtaining ISO certificate starting from the study and evaluation phase, through preparing for the application process phase, followed by documentation of the quality system phase, then the stage of the system internal audit, and finally the phase of external audit.
For her part, Jinoos Shariati said that obtaining an ISO 28000 certification, is a major achievement that places Qatari industrial security at an internationally advanced level, and makes it reliable in terms of securing the sources of oil and gas production at an international level.
She also added that Qatar is one of the few countries that have obtained this certificate, which reflects the serious work that the Qatari Ministry of Interior is doing to secure this vital facility.
حصلت الإدارة العامة للأمن الصناعي بوزارة الداخلية على شهادة الاعتماد الدولي «الأيزو 28000» المعنية بالجودة في سلسلة الإمدادات المتصلة الخاصة بالأمن الصناعي. وتسلم الشهادة، صباح أمس الأحد، المقدم خليفة محمد العطية مدير عام الأمن الصناعي، من السيدة جينوس شريعتي سكرتير أول بالسفارة البريطانية بالدوحة، ومدير هيئة التجارة والاستثمار البريطانية، وبحضور السيد جمال دلي مدير تطوير الأعمال بالمؤسسة البريطانية للمقاييس.
يعد حصول الإدارة العامة للأمن الصناعي على شهادة الاعتماد الدولي الأيزو 28000 خطوة مهمة في طريق تطوير الإدارة، من أجل الرقي بمستوى تأمين المنشآت النفطية بما يحقق ويعزز النجاح الأمني للدور المنوط بالإدارة. وأكد المقدم خليفة محمد العطية أن هذه الشهادة تعد اعتماداً دولياً لمستوى الخدمات الأمنية التي تقوم بها الإدارة العامة للأمن الصناعي في تأمين مصادر إنتاج النفط والغاز بالدولة، لافتاً إلى أن عملية الحصول على شهادة الأيزو مرت بعدة مراحل، بداية من مرحلة الدراسة والتقييم، ومروراً بمرحلة التحضير لعملية التطبيق، ثم توثيق نظام الجودة، ثم تطبيق النظام الموثق، وبعدها مرحلة التدقيق الداخلي للنظام، وأخيراً مرحلة التدقيق الخارجي والحصول على شهادة الأيزو.
وقدم الشكر للجانب البريطاني على دعمه الكبير للإدارة العامة للأمن الصناعي لحصولها على شهادة الأيزو 28000، مؤكداً على استمرار أطر التعاون والتنسيق بين الجانبين بما ينعكس إيجاباً على أداء الأمن الصناعي في الدولة.
ومن جانبها قالت السيدة جينوس شريعتي إن حصول الإدارة العام للأمن الصناعي بوزارة الداخلية القطرية على شهادة الأيزو 28000 يعد إنجازاً كبيراً يضع الأمن الصناعي القطري في مرتبة متقدمة دولياً، ويجعله محل ثقة فيما يخص تأمين مصادر إنتاج النفط والغاز دولياً.
وأضافت أن دولة قطر من الدول القلائل التي حصلت على هذه الشهادة التي تعبر عن العمل الجاد الذي تقوم به وزارة الداخلية القطرية في تأمين هذا المرفق الحيوي عالمياً.
