Temporary closure of the access to Al Shamal Road from Al Khafji Street
إغلاق مؤقت للمدخل المؤدي إلى طريق الشمال من شارع الخفجي
The Public Works Authority, ‘Ashghal’, announces a temporary change to the access to Al Shamal road from Al Khafji street that will be implemented on Thursday 16 January 2020 to allow reconstruction of Al Duhail Interchange.
The proposed change has been designed in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic and will remain in place for 3 months.
The access to Al Shamal road and adjacent areas will be through the Arab League Street then Al Tarfa street or through Al Duhail street.
As shown in the attached map:
Road users coming from Jelaiah Intersection on Al Khafji Street towards Al Shamal Road are advised to use the Arab League Street then AL Tarfa Street.
Road users coming from Environment Street towards Al-Shamal road are advised to use the Al-Duhail Street.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the traffic shift and request all road users to abide by the speed limit which remains at 80 kph along the route, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن إغلاق مؤقت للمدخل المؤدي الى طريق الشمال للقادمين من شارع الخفجي ابتداءً من الخميس 16 يناير الجاري لمدة ثلاثة أشهر بهدف استكمال أعمال تطوير تقاطع الدحيل وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
وكما هو مبين بالخريطة المرفقة، تنصح “أشغال” القادمين من تقاطع جليعة بشارع الخفجي باتجاه طريق الشمال باستخدام شارع الجامعة العربية ثم شارع الطرفة للوصول الى طريق الشمال.
كما تنصح “أشغال” القادمين من شارع البيئة في اتجاه طريق الشمال باستخدام شارع الدحيل للوصول إلى وجهاتهم.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة في الطرق البديلة عند 80 كيلومتر في الساعة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
