QYH gets gold rating of International Youth Hostel Federation

Qatar Youth Hostels (QYH) obtained the gold rating of International Youth Hostel Federation as the first Arab country to obtain this classification.
This came after the periodic evaluation by the International Youth Hostel Federation which is rating different youth hostels members in the Federation, representing 65 countries, Qatar Youth Hostels said in a statement.
The classification is based on the objectives achieved in the strategic plan for youth hostels 2018-2021, which was approved at the 52nd International Conference of the Federation in Iceland.
Qatar Youth Hostels is among the few hostels that have achieved this category, scoring 13 points out of a total of 16 points in record time, thanks to the concerted efforts of the working group and the members of the Executive Board.
Qatar Youth Hostels are implementing various programs and events in line with the plans of the International Federation and the vision of the Ministry of Culture and Sports.
Qatar Youth Hostels had won the confidence of the International Youth Hostel Federation during its recent conference in Iceland, to host the 54th conference at the beginning of 2022, reflecting the confidence of the organizations of youth hostels in various countries of the world in the State of Qatar which succeed in hosting major international events and conferences.
حصلت دولة قطر ممثلة في “بيوت الشباب القطرية” على التصنيف الذهبي من الاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب لتصبح أول دولة عربية تنال هذا التصنيف.
وذكرت بيوت الشباب القطرية في بيان لها اليوم ، أن هذا التصنيف جاء بعد التقييم الدوري الذي قام به الاتحاد الدولي لتصنيف مختلف بيوت الشباب الأعضاء بالاتحاد والذين يمثلون 65 دولة.
وذكر البيان ، ان التصنيف الذهبي يعتمد على ما تحققه هذه البيوت من أهداف مشتركة ، ضمن الخطة الاستراتيجية لبيوت الشباب 2018-2021 والتي تم المصادقة عليها في المؤتمر الدولي الثاني والخمسين للاتحاد بأيسلندا في اكتوبر الماضي.
وتعتبر بيوت الشباب القطرية من بين 9 دول الذين نالوا هذا التصنيف من مجموع 65 دولة عضو في الاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب، حيث تمكنت من تحقيق 13 نقطة من مجموع 16 نقطة أي بنسبة 81,3 % في وقت قياسي، بفضل تضافر جهود فريق العمل وأعضاء المجلس التنفيذي.
وتعمل بيوت الشباب القطرية على تنفيذ برامج وفعاليات متنوعة تتوافق مع خطط الاتحاد الدولي ورؤية وزارة الثقافة والرياضة.
الجدير بالذكر ، أن بيوت الشباب القطرية كانت قد فازت بثقة الاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب خلال مؤتمره الذي عقد مؤخرا في ايسلندا ، لاستضافة المؤتمر 54 للاتحاد الدولي لبيوت الشباب المقرر انعقاده في بداية عام 2022 ، بما يعكس ثقة المنظمات لبيوت الشباب في مختلف دول العالم في دولة قطر وتمكنها من النجاح في استضافة كبرى الفعاليات والمؤتمرات الدولية .
