Temporary Closure on Al Furqan Intersection in Al Rayyan Area
إغلاق مؤقت على تقاطع الفرقان بمنطقة الريان
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the implementation of temporary closure on Al Furqan intersection, while keeping the main lanes on Jassim Bin Ali Street (formerly Muaither North) and the right turns of the intersection open to traffic. The closure will last until Sunday, 5 January 2020, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, Drivers heading from Al Salam Street to Al Sedaira Street, or vice versa, can utilise the free flow right turns and perform a U-turn at the next available junction.
The closure will be implemented to facilitate cofmpletion of the works related to the development of the Treated Sewage Effluent (TSE) in Muaither, Al Mearad and Rawdat Abal Heeran areas.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary traffic closure and request all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” أنه تم البدء في تنفيذ إغلاق مؤقت على تقاطع الفرقان مع الإبقاء على المسارات الرئيسية على شارع جاسم بن علي (معيذر الشمالية سابقاً) والإنعطافات اليمنى للتقاطع مفتوحة أمام الحركة المرورية. ويستمر الإغلاق حتى يوم الأحد 5 يناير 2020، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.
خلال فترة الإغلاق، يمكن لمستخدمي التقاطع المتجهين من شارع السلام لشارع السديرة أو العكس، الانعطاف يميناً فقط واستخدام التقاطع الذي يليه.
يهدف الإغلاق إلى تسهيل استكمال الأعمال المتعلقة بتطوير شبكة تصريف مياه الأمطار في مناطق معيذر، والمعراض، وروضة أبا الحيران.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا الإغلاق، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
