Doha Bank celebrates spirit of unity during Qatar National Day
بنك الدوحة يحتفل بروح الوحدة والوطنية باليوم الوطني لقطر
DOHA: Doha Bank marked Qatar National Day 2019 by participating in cultural festivities in celebration of this glorious day. The Bank’s participation in Darb Al Saai aimed to spread the spirit of joy and pride among people of different ages and nationalities gathered to commemorate the country’s unification in 1878.
Different festivities including folk dance and national songs were held in celebration of Qatar rich history and traditions, in addition to the values of brotherhood and unity. The headquarters of Doha Bank were also covered in a bright color of the national flag in white and purple red (burgundy). During the day, guests enjoyed a range of traditional Qatari food and sweets.
Celebrating this occasion, The Board of Directors of Doha Bank gathered in the presence of Sheikh Fahd bin Mohammed bin Jabr Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doha Bank, Deputy Chairman of the Board, Ahmed Obaidan Fakhro, and Sheikh Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad bin Jabr Al Thani , Managing Director, Board Members, Executive Management and all employees, to express their great pride in celebrating the country’s National Day.
Sheikh Fahad bin Mohammad bin Jabor Al Thani, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Doha Bank, said: “On the occasion of the National day, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and greetings to His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, our customers, stakeholders, partners, colleagues and the people of Qatar of different nationalities and backgrounds.”

Sheikh Abdul Rehman said: “It gives me immense pleasure in joining the country’s citizens and residents in celebrating this great day to celebrate the progress and prosperity Qatar has achieved to the date. “
The National Day is a perfect opportunity to reflect on our history, culture and traditions and show our respect and appreciation to our esteemed leaders for their tireless efforts in developing this nation as we see it today.” He added, “We at Doha Bank always strive to achieve our best in favor of our beloved country, seeking always to act as ambassadors of the values and ideas on which our great country stands and resembles”.
احتفى بنك الدوحة باليوم الوطني لدولة قطر لعام 2019، وذلك من خلال المشاركة في الاحتفالات الوطنية التي تم تحضيرها بمناسبة هذا اليوم المميز، بالإضافة إلى مشاركة بنك الدوحة في فعاليات درب الساعي، والتي تم من خلالها نشر روح الفرح بين الأشخاص من مختلف الأعمار والجنسيات الذين توحدوا للاحتفال بهذا باليوم الوطني في قطر.
وتضمنت الأجواء الاحتفالية التي تحتفي بالتاريخ الغني والتقاليد القطرية العريقة وقيم الأخوة والوحدة، العرضة الشعبية والشلات الوطنية. كما اكتسى المقر الرئيسي لبنك الدوحة بحلة زاهية من ألوان العلم الوطني من اللونين الأبيض والأدعم، وقد تمتع الضيوف طوال اليوم بتناول مجموعة من الأطعمة والحلويات القطرية التقليدية. وقام مجلس إدارة بنك الدوحة بالاجتماع احتفالاً بهذه المناسبة، بحضور سعادة الشيخ فهد بن محمد بن جبر آل ثاني رئيس مجلس إدارة بنك الدوحة، ونائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة السيد أحمد عبيدان فخرو، وسعادة الشيخ عبد الرحمن بن محمد بن جبر آل ثاني العضو المنتدب، وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة، والإدارة التنفيذية، وجميع الموظفين، للتعبير عن فخرهم الكبير بالاحتفال باليوم الوطني للبلاد.
