Sheikha Hind attends QF scholarship ceremony

HE Sheikha Hind bint Hamad al-Thani, vice-chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation (QF), attended QF’s recent Annual Scholarship Awarding Ceremony. Also in attendance at the ceremony were Sheikh Salman bin Hassan al-Thani, chief financial officer, QF; Machaille al-Naimi, president of Community Development, QF; and Khalifa bin Jassim al-Kuwari, director-general, Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD); as well as the deans of the higher academic institutes based at Education City. During the ceremony, students from Qatar Foundation member Hamad Bin Khalifa University and QF’s partner universities were awarded QF merit scholarships in recognition of their academic excellence. It also saw the awarding of Qatar Scholarships provided by QFFD – with whom QF has established a partnership to enhance learning opportunities for young people from Qatar and around the world – to enable gifted students to access a QF education.

شهدت سعادة الشيخة هند بنت حمد آل ثاني -نائب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لمؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع- حفل توزيع المنح الدراسية السنوي، الذي نظمته مؤسسة قطر مؤخراً. وحضر الحفل كذلك الشيخ سلمان بن حسن آل ثاني الرئيس التنفيذي للشؤون المالية بمؤسسة قطر، والسيدة مشاعل حسن النعيمي رئيسة تنمية المجتمع في مؤسسة قطر، والسيد خليفة بن جاسم الكواري المدير العام لصندوق قطر للتنمية، إضافة إلى عمداء الجامعات في المدينة التعليمية. وخلال الحفل، تم تقديم منح التفوق الأكاديمي لطلاب من جامعة حمد بن خليفة، عضو مؤسسة قطر، والجامعات الشريكة لمؤسسة قطر، تكريماً لتفوقهم الأكاديمي. كما تم تقديم المنح التعليمية القطرية من قبل صندوق قطر للتنمية، الذي أقامت معه مؤسسة قطر شراكة، من أجل تعزيز فرص التعليم لشباب قطر والعالم، وتمكين الطلاب المتميزين للاستفادة من فرص التعليم في مؤسسة قطر.;
