KAHRAMAA Completes the Latest substation of Metro Project
«كهرماء» تنجز آخر محطات كهرباء مترو الدوحة
Doha: Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has completed the commissioning of the Al Bidaa Metro substation.
With this, all five electricity substations of Kahramaa pertaining to the Doha Metro project of Qatar Rail have come to an end.
The Al Bidaa substation of Kahramaa is embedded with multi-story car parking.
The total cost of the project is QR300 million. Al Bidaa 33/123 KV Electricity substation is part of the phase 12 of Qatar electricity transmission network expansion project. The substation is fed from Al Suwaidi super by 132 KV cable with a length of 5.4 km. The substation has 132/32 KV transformers, 132/33 KV GIS and other allied equipment. The substation capacity is 100 MVA.
Kahramaa President Essa bin Hilal Al Kuwari said: “We are proud to complete all electricity substations Kahramaa implemented for Qatar Rail to provide Doha Metro Project will all electricity needs.”
Al-Kuwari added that the substations for Doha Metro are equipped with special technology to ensure uninterrupted power supply in emergency situations.
Kahramaa has achieved more than two million working hours without losing time for injuries or incidents in Al-Bidaa Substation and associated car parking project. It is also keen to apply the highest standards of living circumstances for workers, appreciating their role as partners in this successful project which will affect positively and increase productivity.
Kahramaa has commissioned five electricity substations for Qatar Rail to provide Metro Station will all requirements of electricity with a total cost of QR 900 million.
“Ras Abu Funtas metro substation” was commissioned in July 2017 and the second one “Lusail Metro electricity substation” in March 2018. Al-Waab metro substation was commissioned in June 2018, Doha West metro substation became operational in September 2018. The last substation “Al-Bidaa Metro” got commissioned in November 2019.

أنجزت المؤسسة العامة القطرية للكهرباء والماء «كهرماء» محطة كهرباء مترو البدع، آخر محطة من خمس محطات نفذتها «كهرماء» لشركة سكك الحديد القطرية «الريل»، حيث تم تشغيل المحطة بنجاح. ويشمل المبنى إلى جانب المحطة مبنى مواقف للسيارات متعدد الطوابق. وتبلغ التكلفة الإجمالية للمشروع حوالي 300 مليون ريال، وتعد محطة كهرباء مترو البدع 132/33 ك.ف جزءاً من محطات المرحلة الثانية عشرة من مشروع توسعة شبكة النقل الكهربائي بدولة قطر، وتتم تغذيتها من محطة السويدي الكبرى بكابل جهد 132 كيلو فولت بطول 5.4 كيلو متر. وتشتمل المحطة على محولات جهد 132 / 32 ك.ف. ومفاتيح معزولة بالغاز جهد 132 و33 ك.ف. وغيرها من المعدات، وتبلغ سعة المحطة 100 ميغافولت أمبير.
صرح سعادة المهندس عيسى بن هلال الكواري رئيس «كهرماء» بهذه المناسبة قائلاً: «نفخر في «كهرماء» بالانتهاء من جميع محطات الكهرباء التي ننفذها لشركة «الريل» لتزويد مشروع مترو الدوحة بجميع احتياجاته من الكهرباء، وذلك انطلاقاً من دور المؤسسة كشريك رئيسي في مشاريع التنمية التي تشهدها البلاد».
أولوية
أضاف الكواري: «تم إعطاء محطات مترو الدوحة الأولوية في ترسية المشاريع كواحد من التحديات المنوطة بكهرماء، والتي نجحت في تنفيذه وفق الجدول الزمني المعتمد وبأعلى معايير الجودة، حيث روعي في محطات مشروع مترو الدوحة المتطلبات الفنية الخاصة باستخدام تكنولوجيا تضمن استمرار الطاقة الكهربائية في الحالات الطارئة».
التزام
وأكد سعادة رئيس «كهرماء» التزام المؤسسة بتنفيذ مشاريع البنية التحتية وفق الجدول الزمني المحدد بناء على التوجيهات السامية لحضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، وبدعم من حكومتنا الرشيدة».
ويشمل المبنى إلى جانب المحطة موقفاً للسيارات يضم ستة طوابق، جاري العمل على الانتهاء منه قريباً، حيث يتسع لحوالي 625 موقفاً للسيارات.
5 محطات
هذا وقد نفذت «كهرماء» خمس محطات كهرباء لشركة «الريل» لتزويد مشروع مترو الدوحة بجميع احتياجاته من الكهرباء بتكلفة إجمالية حوالي 900 مليون ريـال، وقد تم تشغيل محطة راس أبوفنطاس أولى المحطات في يوليو 2017، كما تم تشغيل محطة كهرباء مترو لوسيل في مارس 2018، ومحطة كهرباء مترو الوعب في يونيو 2018، ومحطة كهرباء مترو غرب الدوحة في سبتمبر 2018، بالإضافة إلى محطة مترو البدع آخر محطة لمترو الدوحة، والتي تم تشغيلها في نوفمبر 2019.
