Amir holds telephone talks with Iraq President, PM

Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani held telephone conversations yesterday with the President Barham Salih of the sisterly Republic of Iraq and the Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi, during which they discussed the latest developments in Iraq.
During the phone calls, H H the Amir expressed confidence in the wisdom and ability of the Iraqi leadership to overcome the situations and challenges the country is facing and to achieve its security and stability in the interest of its brotherly people.
For their part, both the Iraqi President and the Prime Minister expressed their thanks and appreciation to H H the Amir for his constant concern for the unity, security and stability of Iraq. The Iraqi President expressed his hope to meet with H H the Amir in the near future.
أجرى حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، اتصالا هاتفيًا اليوم بكل من فخامة الرئيس الدكتور برهم صالح رئيس جمهورية العراق الشقيقة ودولة السيد عادل عبد المهدي رئيس الوزراء جرى خلالهما مناقشة آخر تطورات الأوضاع في العراق.
وأعرب سموه خلال الاتصالين عن ثقته في حكمة وقدرة القيادة العراقية على تجاوز هذه الأوضاع والتحديات التي يواجهها العراق بما يحقق أمنه واستقراره وخير ومصلحة شعبه الشقيق.
من جانبهما أعرب كل من فخامة الرئيس العراقي ودولة رئيس الوزراء عن شكرهما وتقديرهما لسموه على حرصه الدائم على وحدة العراق وأمنه واستقراره.
كما أعرب فخامة الرئيس العراقي عن تطلعه للقاء سموه في المستقبل القريب.
