Partial closure on Onaiza Street and Al Marmar Roundabout

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a partial closure in one direction on Onaiza Street from Gulf Intersection to Qasr Al Marmar Roundabout in addition to the partial closure of Qasr Al Marmar Roundabout.

In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this closure will be implemented on Tuesday 14 April 2020 for a period of three weeks, to allow completion of upgrading works on Qasr Al Marmar Roundabout as part of B Ring Road Upgrade Project.

During this time, road users coming from Al Rumaila Street and heading towards Gulf Intersection, will be required to turn right towards Onaiza Street then make a U-turn at the Civil Defense Intersection. As for road users coming from Al Diwan Intersection towards Qasr Al Marmar Roundabout, they will be required to continue straight then turn right at the White Palace Intersection then use Ahmed bin Ali Street to reach their destinations.

Road users on Onaiza Street coming from Civil Defence Intersection and wishing to perform a U-turn, will be required to turn towards Al Rumaila Street then make a U-turn at Rumaila Intersection, as shown in the above map.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.

تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق جزئي في اتجاه واحد على شارع عنيزة وذلك للمسارات المتجهة من تقاطع الخليج إلى دوار قصر المرمر إلى جانب إغلاق جزئي على دوار قصر المرمر.

وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سيتم تنفيذ هذا الإغلاق اعتباراً من يوم الثلاثاء 14 أبريل 2020 لمدة ثلاثة أسابيع، بهدف استكمال أعمال تطوير دوار قصر المرمر، ضمن مشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري الثاني.

وخلال هذه الفترة، سيتعين على القادمين من شارع الرميلة والمتجهين نحو تقاطع الخليج، الانعطاف يميناً لشارع عنيزة ثم الالتفاف والعودة عند تقاطع الدفاع المدني. أما بالنسبة للقادمين من تقاطع الديوان باتجاه دوار قصر المرمر، فسيتعين عليهم المواصلة إلى الأمام ثم الانعطاف يميناً عند تقاطع القصر الأبيض واستخدام شارع أحمد بن علي للوصول إلى وجهاتهم. كما سيتعين على مستخدمي شارع عنيزة القادمين من تقاطع الدفاع المدني والراغبين بالدوران والعودة إلى الخلف إلى شارع عنيزة، الانعطاف باتجاه شارع الرميلة ثم الدوران للخلف عند تقاطع رميلة، كما هو موضح بالخريطة أعلاه.

ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
