The National Day celebrations kicked off on Friday at the Corniche of the Katara Cultural Village and the Old Doha Port. The events will continue until December 18 from 3:00 PM to 10:00 PM, organized with the participation of various entities.
The activities include shows, competitions, workshops, and other engaging events. Visitors will enjoy the Qatari parade at the Katara Corniche, along with performances by the Armed Forces Music Band presented by the Military Exhibitions Center.
The Katara Planetarium Dome will host several astronomical activities. Among the participating entities are the Qanas Association, which showcases falconry, bird calling, and the Saluki show in traditional tents. Along the waterfront, there will be a traditional tent for the Al Qalail Championship, featuring images of the competition and the display of cars associated with the championship. Additionally, the Motors Center will exhibit classic cars in Katara’s facilities, and the Katara Cultural Market will showcase traditional treasures and small projects.

انطلقت فعاليات اليوم الوطني يوم الجمعة على كورنيش المؤسسة العامة للحي الثقافي كتارا وميناء الدوحة القديم. وتستمر الفعاليات حتى 18 ديسمبر من الساعة 3:00 عصرًا حتى 10:00 مساءً، وتنظم بمشاركة عدد من الجهات المختلفة.
تتنوع الفعاليات بين عروض ومسابقات وورش عمل وأنشطة أخرى مثيرة. سيستمتع الزوار بعرضة القطرية على كورنيش كتارا، بالإضافة إلى عروض فرقة موسيقى القوات المسلحة المقدمة من مركز العروض العسكرية.
ستستضيف قبة الثريا الفلكية في كتارا عدة أنشطة فلكية. ومن بين الجهات المشاركة جمعية القناص التي تعرض فنون الصيد بالصقور ودعو الطير وعرض الهدد السلوقي في خيم تراثية. كما ستتواجد على الواجهة البحرية خيمة تراثية لبطولة القلايل، حيث ستقدم صور المسابقة وعرض السيارات المرتبطة بالبطولة. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، سيعرض مركز المواتر سيارات كلاسيكية في مرافق كتارا، وسيقدم سوق كتارا الثقافي مقتنيات تراثية ومشاريع صغيرة.
