Partial closure on One Direction of Jabber bin Mohammed Street

The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a partial closure in one direction of Jabber bin Mohammed and Al Dostour Streets starting Friday 1 November 2019 for a period of five months, where and in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, around 200 metres will be closed of Jabber bin Mohammed Street in the direction from Dar Al Kutub Intersection (temporary roundabout) to the intersection of Jabber bin Mohammed Street/Al Dostour Street; and around 150 metres will be closed of Al Dostour Street in the direction from Jabber bin Mohammed Street towards Ali bin Amur Al Attiya Street.

During this period, road users can use Al Rufaa Intersection then get on Al Dostour Street to reach their destinations.

This closure will be implemented to facilitate completion of the surface-water drainage network and roads upgrading works, as part of the A-Ring Road Development Project.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary traffic closure and request all road users to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.

تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق جزئي باتجاه واحد على شارع جبر بن محمد وشارع الدستور بدءً من يوم الجمعة 1 نوفمبر 2019 ولمدة خمسة أشهر، حيث سيتم إغلاق حوالي 200 متر من شارع جبر بن محمد بالاتجاه من تقاطع دار الكتب (دوار مؤقت) إلى تقاطع شارع جبر بن محمد/شارع الدستور، وإغلاق حوالي 150 متر من شارع الدستور بالاتجاه من شارع جبر بن محمد نحو شارع علي بن عمر العطية، وذلك بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور.

خلال هذه الفترة، يمكن استخدام تقاطع الرفاع للوصول إلى شارع الدستور والمواصلة نحو الوجهات المطلوبة.

يهدف الإغلاق الجزئي إلى استكمال أعمال تطوير شبكة صرف المياه السطحية وأعمال الطريق، وذلك ضمن مشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري الأول.

ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المحددة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
