Electricity Intersection Converted into a Temporary R/A
تحويل تقاطع الكهرباء إلى دوار مؤقت
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces the conversion of Electricity Intersection (formerly known as Nasser bin Khalid Intersection) on A Ring Road into a temporary roundabout while keeping the same number of lanes open in all directions. In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this change will be implemented on Friday 18 October 2019 for a period of 4 months to enable expansion and upgrading works on Electricity Intersection and installation of new traffic lights, as part of the A-Ring Road Development Project.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تحويل تقاطع الكهرباء (المعروف سابقاً بتقاطع ناصر بن خالد) على الطريق الدائري الأول إلى دوار مؤقت، مع الإبقاء على نفس عدد المسارات مفتوحة في جميع الاتجاهات. وبالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور، سيبدأ هذا التغيير المروري اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 18 أكتوبر 2019 ولمدة 4 أشهر، وذلك بهدف إتاحة المجال لتنفيذ أعمال توسعة وتطوير تقاطع الكهرباء وتركيب إشارات ضوئية جديدة، ضمن مشروع تطوير الطريق الدائري الأول.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري المؤقت، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
