Traffic Closure on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street
إغلاق على شارع المرقاب الجديد
The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces a traffic closure along approximately 500 meters of Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street in the direction from Al Wedyaan Street to Al Amir Street. This same section of road will still be open in the opposite direction. In coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, this temporary closure will be implemented on Friday 17 September 2019 until 30 November 2019 to facilitate completion of infrastructure service lines upgrading works as part of Improvement of Main Roads in Al Nasr Area Project.
During this period, traffic on Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Street will be required to use the traffic signal at the intersection of Mohamed Bin Al Qassim and Al Mirqab Al Jadeed Streets to turn right or left then get on a parallel road to reach Al Amir Street, as shown in the above map.
The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the closure. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
تعلن هيئة الأشغال العامة “أشغال” عن تنفيذ إغلاق مروري على حوالي 500 متر من شارع المرقاب الجديد في الاتجاه من شارع الوديان إلى شارع الأمير مع الإبقاء على الاتجاه المقابل من نفس الجزء للطريق مفتوحاً أمام الحركة المرورية، وذلك اعتباراً من يوم الجمعة 17 سبتمبر 2019 حتى 30 نوفمبر 2019، ويأتي هذا الاغلاق بالتنسيق مع الإدارة العامة للمرور لتسهيل استكمال أعمال تطوير خطوط خدمات البنية التحتية ضمن مشروع التطوير المرحلي للطرق الرئيسية بمنطقة النصر.
خلال هذه الفترة، سيتعين على رواد الطريق المتجهين نحو شارع الأمير من شارع المرقاب الجديد استخدام الإشارة الضوئية عند تقاطع شارعي محمد بن القاسم والمرقاب الجديد ثم الاتجاه يميناً أو يساراً إلى طريق موازٍ ومنه لشارع الأمير كما هو موضح في الخريطة أعلاه.
ستقوم هيئة الأشغال العامة بتركيب اللوحات الإرشادية لتنبيه مستخدمي الطريق بهذا التغيير المروري، وتهيب بجميع مستخدمي الطريق الالتزام بحدود السرعة المسموحة واتباع اللوحات الإرشادية حفاظاً على سلامتهم.
