Tickets sold out for Qatar vs India Asian qualifier

Tickets allocated for Indian fans to watch Qatar taking on India in the Asian Qualifiers for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and AFC Asian Cup China 2023 are already sold out.
Qatar Football Association (QFA) said on twitter that “Tickets allocated for Indian fans (8%) for Tuesday’s game between Qatar and India have been sold out.”
Only Qatari fans will be able to buy the rest of the tickets.
There were a few Indian fans milling around the Al Sadd stadium in the evening hoping to bag some tickets incase if they open up the sale again.
QFA had also put up notices at the stadium saying “Qatar vs India Ticket Update: Tickets allocated for Indian fans (8%) have been sold out.”
A portion of tickets in football matches are allocated for the visiting fans as per official rules. For tomorrow’s match, the tickets for visiting fans were sold out on the first day itself. This shows that there is lot of interest among football fans to watch Qatar-India match, which will kick-off at 7:30pm tomorrow at Al Sadd stadium.
QFA also released the seating plan for fans indicating the gates they should enter.
