Qatar Scout participate in Arab Regional Conference in Tunis

Doha: Qatar Scout and Girl Guides Association will participate in the 22nd Arab Regional Conference for Girl Guides, to be held in Hammamet, Tunisia, from today to September 22.
The conference will discuss a number of topics including the general policy of the Girl Guiding movement in the Arab region, the development of regional strategies and plans that meet the needs and priorities of the guiding organizations and the development and qualification and leaders capacity of women for leadership positions on the Arab scale. The 21st regional conference was held in Doha in September 2016.
Meanwhile, the Association participates with a group of girl guides in the Young Women Forum for Governance currently held in Tunisia.
The Forum aims at building the capacity of young women at different levels and introducing them to governance issues, characteristics, challenges of leadership positions, strategic planning and the ability to work in a multicultural environment.
تشارك جمعية الكشافة والمرشدات القطرية في المؤتمر العربي الإقليمي الثاني والعشرين للمرشدات الذي يعقد بمدينة الحمامات التونسية خلال الفترة من 17 إلى 22 سبتمبر الجاري تحت شعاربسمة وعطاء من أجل النماء.
يناقش المؤتمر جملة من الموضوعات من بينها رسم السياسة العامة لحركة المرشدات في المنطقة العربية ووضع استراتيجيات وخطط إقليمية تلبي حاجيات وأولويات المنظمات الإرشادية وتنميتها، وتأهيل وبناء قدرات القيادات النسائية الكشفية لتولي مناصب قيادية على النطاق العربي وغير ذلك من الأمور ذات الصلة.
يذكر أن المؤتمر الإقليمي الحادي والعشرين كان قد عقد بالدوحة في سبتمبر 2016.
وعلى صعيد متصل تشارك الجمعية بمجموعة من المرشدات في منتدى الشابات للحوكمة المقام حاليا بتونس تحت شعار /نحو التعليم والنمو والقيادة/.
يهدف المنتدى إلى بناء قدرات الشابات على المستويات المختلفة وتعريفهن بقضايا الحوكمة وخصائصها وتحديات الوصول للمناصب القيادية والتخطيط الاستراتيجي والقدرة على العمل في بيئة متعددة الثقافات.
