Qatar International University Expo kicks off 16 October
معرض قطر الدولي للجامعات ينطلق 16 أكتوبر المقبل
University Expo (UniExpo) 2019, aimed at students aged 16+, their parents, school counsellors, principals and career advisers, as well as professionals looking to further advance their academic credentials, will take place on October 16 and 17 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).
UniExpo offers inspirational seminars, by local and international speakers, on academic paths and career selection for students, providing them with pertinent information that could help them make wise decisions for their future. It is also a perfect platform for professionals who would like to pursue their executive education by joining prestigious postgraduate courses.
Alan Kelly, Commercial Director, Informa Tharawat, said: “We are very excited to be running the ninth edition of UniExpo Qatar, it is the only event in Qatar that brings together such a large number of education institutions.”
“The event is a unique platform for high school students and their parents to prepare them for a new phase of their life. Through one-on-one interactions with university representatives from all around the world, our visitors get all the information they need that is related to their tertiary education such as life as a student, scholarship programmes, managing finances and studying abroad,” he added.
University Expo Qatar will witness the participation of more than 100 leading universities and education providers from around the world including the largest contingents of universities based in Qatar, such as; Community College Qatar, Doha Institute of Graduate Studies, College of North Atlantic, Qatar Foundation, Education City Qatar, Northwestern University in Qatar, HEC Paris in Qatar, Carnegie Mellon University Qatar and Qatar University.
Over fifteen countries will also be represented including USA, France, UK, Malaysia, Italy, India, Lebanon, Netherlands, Qatar, Oman, Turkey, and North Cyprus. International universities showcasing at University Expo Qatar include University of Aberdeen, Wright State University, Virginia Tech, Swansea University, Middlesex University, Durham University, and the Lebanese American University, to name a few.
In its ninth year, UniExpo is proud to have Qatar Chamber as its strategic Partner, Akhlaquna as silver exhibitor, and The Great Indian Education Fair as the Indian Partner. The University Expo Qatar takes place on October 16-17, 2019 from 8am-1pm & 5pm-9pm, in Hall 5 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center.
تبدأ فعاليات الدورة التاسعة لمعرض قطر للجامعات “يوني إكسبو” يوم 16 أكتوبر المقبل وتستمر يومين بمركز الدوحة للمعارض والمؤتمرات.
ويشارك في المعرض أكثر من 100 جامعة رائدة تمثل 15 دولة حول العالم، إلى جانب مراكز ومؤسسات مختصة في مجال التعليم من كل أنحاء العالم، بما فيها كبرى الجامعات والمؤسسات المعنية بمجال التعليم في قطر مثل كلية المجتمع في قطر، ومعهد الدوحة للدراسات العليا، وكلية شمال الأطلنطي في قطر، ومؤسسة قطر، والمدينة التعليمية، وجامعة نورثويسترن في قطر، واتش أي سي باريس في قطر، وكارنيجي ميلون قطر، وجامعة قطر.
ويستهدف المعرض فئة الشباب من عمر 16 سنة وما فوق، فضلا عن أولياء الأمور، والمستشارين في مجال التعليم، ومديري المدراس، والمختصين في التوجيه المهني، إلى جانب المهنيين الباحثين عن فرص لاستكمال مسارهم الأكاديمي.
وسيتخلل المعرض مجموعة من الندوات والفرص والخيارات الأكاديمية والمهنية المتعددة وذلك بمشاركة عدد من الجامعات المحلية والعالمية، بهدف توفير كافة المعلومات التي يحتاجها الطلاب ليتمكنوا من اتخاذ قرارات مناسبة حول مستقبلهم الجامعي والمهني، كما يوفر فرصا مفيدة للموظفين الذين يرغبون في الانضمام إلى برامج الدراسات العليا التي توفرها الجامعات العالمية المرموقة.
وأوضح السيد ألان كيلي المدير التجاري لإنفورما ثروات، الشركة المنظمة للمعرض، إن المعرض يوفر فرصة متكاملة للشباب للاطلاع على المعلومات التي يحتاجونها في عدد من الأمور التي من شأنها أن تحدد مستقبلهم الدراسي بما في ذلك المنح الدراسية، وكيفية إدارة مواردهم المالية وبرامج الابتعاث..وقال ” إننا نوفر لهم فرصة رائعة للقاء مسؤولي القبول بالجامعات المحلية والعالمية”.
