Amir Patronizes Graduation Ceremony of Third Batch of Police College Candidates

Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani patronized the graduation ceremony of the third batch of candidate students of the Ministry of Interior’s Police College at the Police Training Institute in Al Sailiya on Saturday morning.
The graduation ceremony was attended by HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al-Thani, HE Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi, HE Minister of Interior of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Sameer Ibrahim Al Mobaideen, and a number of Their Excellencies the Minister, heads of the diplomatic missions to the State, and high-ranking officers of the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, the Amiri Guard, the State Security and the Lekhwiya Force.
The national anthem was played at the outset of the ceremony. Then the commander of the commander of the graduates’ queue came forward requesting HH the Amir to inspect the queue of the 112 graduates from the State of Qatar, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Palestine and the Republic of Yemen.
After reciting verses from the Holy Quran and the performance of the graduates’ parade and the military parade, HH the Amir honored the seven outstanding graduates. After that, the third batch handed over the flag to the fourth batch, the appointment order was read out, and the queue of future officers of school students entered. At the end of the ceremony, the officers of third batch took the oath and performed the College anthem.
Director-General of the Police College Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al Muhana Al Marri delivered a speech on the occasion welcoming HH the Amir and expressing pleasure with HH patronage and honoring of the ceremony which marks the graduation of a new batch of police officers who fulfilled the requirements for a Bachelor’s degree in Law and Police Sciences.
Brigadier Al Marri noted that the 112 graduates include 93 Qatari from the Ministry of Interior and a number of military bodies in the State, and 19 graduates from the sisterly Arab countries, namely the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the State of Palestine and the Republic of Yemen.
He underlined the Police College’s endeavors, through the continuous development of its academic and training programs, to achieve its mission of graduating highly-skilled police officers, enabling them to professionally implement security tasks, and to keep pace with the requirements of the times in terms of behavior and performance, with determination and courage, while adhering to the Arab and Islamic traditions and values, and pride in belonging to the homeland and loyalty to HH the Amir.
Brigadier Al Marri cited the saying of HH the Amir that human development is one of the most important pillars of Qatar’s vision, and the Qatari citizen remains the main focus of concern, by providing the best levels of education that guarantee his advancement and progress. He stressed the Police College’s keenness on providing its students with the latest curricula that keep pace with international standards, including science and knowledge in the policing and legal fields.

الدوحة: تفضل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، فشمل برعايته الكريمة، حفل تخريج الدفعة الثالثة من الطلبة المرشحين بكلية الشرطة التابعة لوزارة الداخلية وذلك بمعهد تدريب الشرطة بمنطقة السيلية صباح اليوم.
حضر الحفل معالي الشيخ خالد بن خليفة بن عبدالعزيز آل ثاني رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الداخلية، ومعالي السيد حمود بن فيصل البوسعيدي وزير الداخلية بسلطنة عمان الشقيقة، ومعالي السيد سمير إبراهيم المبيضين وزير الداخلية بالمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية الشقيقة، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة الوزراء، ورؤساء البعثات الدبلوماسية في الدولة وكبار ضباط وزارة الدفاع ووزارة الداخلية والحرس الأميري وجهاز أمن الدولة وقوة لخويا.
وفي بداية الحفل عزف النشيد الوطني، وتلاه استئذان قائد الطابور، لسمو الأمير المفدى، بتفتيش طابور الخريجين البالغ عددهم 112 خريجا من دولة قطر والمملكة الأردنية الهاشمية ودولة فلسطين والجمهورية اليمنية.
وبعد تلاوة آيات من الذكر الحكيم، وعرض مسير طابور الخريجين والاستعراض العسكري، قام سمو الأمير بتكريم أوائل الطلبة الخريجين وعددهم سبعة، من ثم تم استلام وتسليم العلم من الدفعة الثالثة إلى الدفعة الرابعة، وقراءة أمر التعيين وانصراف طابور العرض ودخول طابور ضباط الغد من طلبة المدارس، وفي نهاية الحفل أدى ضباط الدفعة الثالثة القسم ونشيد الكلية.
وكان العميد الدكتور محمد عبدالله المحنا المري مدير عام كلية الشرطة قد ألقى كلمة بهذه المناسبة قال فيها “ها هي كلية الشرطة تزهو من جديد ترحيبا بسموكم، وتغمرنا السعادة برعايتكم الكريمة وتشريفكم لحفلنا هذا، الذي نزف فيه كوكبة جديدة من ضباط الشرطة، الذين استوفوا متطلبات الحصول على درجة البكالوريوس في القانون وعلوم الشرطة، ويبلغ عددهم (112) خريجا، منهم (93) قطريا من وزارة الداخلية وعدد من الجهات العسكرية بالدولة، وإخوة لهم من أبناء الدول العربية الشقيقة، وهي المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ودولة فلسطين، والجمهورية اليمنية يبلغ عددهم (19) خريجا.
وأكد العميد المري سعي كلية الشرطة من خلال التطوير المستمر لبرامجها الأكاديمية والتدريبية لتحقيق رسالتها في تخريج ضباط شرطة على درجة عالية من المهارة تمكنهم من تنفيذ المهام الأمنية بصورة احترافية، ومسايرة متطلبات العصر سلوكا وأداء، وبهمة وعزيمة وإقدام مع التمسك بالعادات والتقاليد والقيم العربية والإسلامية والاعتزاز بالانتماء للوطن الغالي والولاء لسمو الأمير المفدى. مستشهدا بمقولة حضرة صاحب السمو أمير البلاد المفدى ( حفظه الله ورعاه ) أن “التنمية البشرية أحد أهم الركائز الأساسية في رؤية قطر، ويظل المواطن القطري محور اهتمامنا الرئيسي، من خلال توفير أفضل مستويات التعليم التي تضمن له الرقي والتقدم”.. لافتا الى جهود الكلية أن تقدم لطلابها أحدث المناهج التي تواكب المعايير العالمية إلى جانب العلوم والمعارف في المجالات الشرطية والقانونية.
