President of the Republic of The Gambia visits Education City
رئيس غامبيا يزور المدينة التعليمية
A ‘yearning for education’ exists throughout the world, the President of the Republic of The Gambia, Adama Barrow has said while visiting Qatar Foundation (QF) his tour of Education City yesterday, was given him an insight into QF’s unique environment, which includes more than 50 education, science and research, and community development entities.
During the visit, he also added taht “The whole world is yearning for education. It is the key focus of mine, and it is the foundation to everything in life. Qatar Foundation also realizes the importance of education, and we share the same values.”
أعرب فخامة رئيس جمهورية غامبيا آداما بارو، عن أهمية التعليم في بناء عالم أفضل، وذلك في تصريح له، أمس، أثناء زيارته مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع، قائلًا:” العالم بأسره يتطلع إلى التعليم”. وخلال جولة في المدينة التعليمية، تعرّف فخامته على مساعي مؤسسة قطر ومرافقها المختلفة ومبادراتها التي تشمل أكثر من خمسين مبادرة في مجال التعليم والعلوم والبحوث وتنمية المجتمع.
وأضاف فخامة الرئيس:” العالم بأسره يتطلع إلى تعزيز التعليم، وهو ما نسعى للتركيز عليه في المقام الأول، كما أنه الأساس الذي ترتكز إليه الحياة. إن مؤسسة قطر للتربية والعلوم وتنمية المجتمع تؤمن بأهمية التعليم ونحن نشاركها هذه القيمة”.
