New York/Doha: Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani visited yesterday the Amir of the State of Kuwait, H H Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, at his residence in New York to be reassured about the health of H H the Amir of Kuwait after completing successful medical tests. His Highness wished the Amir of Kuwait good health and wellness.

During the meeting, they reviewed the relations and ways to boost and develop them in a way which benefits both countries and peoples.

The meeting was attended by a number of Their Excellencies members of the delegation accompanying H H the Amir.

From the Kuwaiti side, the meeting was attended by Deputy Chief of the National Guard Sheikh Meshaal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah and a number of Their Excellencies members of the delegation accompanying H H the Amir of Kuwait.

H H the Amir will deliver a speech at the opening session of the high-level General Debate of 74th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) tomorrow. The 74th session of the UNGA opened on September 17, 2019. The first day of the high-level General Debate will be tomorrow (Tuesday), September 24.

H H the Amir is heading the delegation of the State of Qatar to the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, which is taking place at the UN’s headquarters in New York.

قام حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى اليوم، بزيارة إلى أخيه صاحب السمو الشيخ صباح الأحمد الجابر الصباح أمير دولة الكويت الشقيقة بمقر إقامة سموه في نيويورك للاطمئنان على صحة سموه بعد استكمال الفحوصات الطبية الناجحة التي أجراها، متمنيا أن يديم الله عليه موفور الصحة وتمام العافية.

وجرى خلال اللقاء الذي جمعهما استعراض العلاقات الأخوية وسبل دعمها وتعزيزها لما فيه مصلحة وخير البلدين والشعبين الشقيقين.

حضر اللقاء عدد من أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق لسمو الأمير.

وحضره من الجانب الكويتي معالي الشيخ مشعل الأحمد الجابر الصباح نائب رئيس الحرس الوطني ومعالي الشيخ صباح الخالد الحمد الصباح نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء ووزير الخارجية، وعدد من أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد المرافق لسمو أمير دولة الكويت.
