Amir meets Indian Prime Minister

New York: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Monday with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the accompanying delegation, at the residence of the Permanent Mission of the State of Qatar to the United Nations, on the sidelines of the 74th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations and ways of developing them in various aspects of cooperation, especially in the political and economic areas, to serve the interests of the two friendly people.
Indian Prime Minister expressed thanks to the Amir for the good treatment for the Indian community in the State of Qatar.
The Amir and the Prime Minister also exchanged views on the latest developments in the region.
The meeting was attended by their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying the Amir.
استقبل حضرة صاحب السمو الشيخ تميم بن حمد آل ثاني أمير البلاد المفدى، أمس، دولة السيد ناريندرا مودي رئيس وزراء جمهورية الهند والوفد المرافق، بمقر الوفد الدائم لدولة قطر لدى الأمم المتحدة في نيويورك، وذلك على هامش انعقاد الدورة الرابعة والسبعين للجمعية العامة للأمم المتحدة. تناولت المقابلة العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، وأوجه تطويرها في مختلف جوانب التعاون، لا سيما السياسي والاقتصادي وبما يخدم مصالح الشعبين الصديقين، معرباً دولة رئيس الوزراء الهندي عن شكره لسمو الأمير على حسن المعاملة التي تتلقاها الجالية الهندية في قطر. كما تبادل سموه ودولة رئيس الوزراء الهندي الآراء حول تطورات الأوضاع في المنطقة. حضر المقابلة أصحاب السعادة أعضاء الوفد الرسمي المرافق لسمو الأمير.
